the sesamo

maybe our prettiest loaf, and certainly one of the most delicious. the seeds toast as the bread bakes, infusing the crust with the scent of sesame, and….while this beauty will indeed leave a trail of sesame seeds wherever you go, this is also the loaf that will have you ripping chunks out of it as you walk down the street because the smell is driving you wild.

please note that this is made with natural leavening and will keep nicely if you don’t slice it all at once.

it will also come in handy for things like:

🍽️ mopping up that incredibly delicious tomato sauce you made
🍽️ buttered toast; please use a nice salty butter
🍽️ dipping into the fall braise of chicken simmered in white whine you’ve got going
