What Does It Really Mean to Be a Miss Green Fashion Queen?

Being a Miss Green Fashion Queen is more than the crown, the sash, the beautiful outfits and the moment everyone is cheering your name. It means having a platform and knowing what to do with it.

It means using your voice to start conversations, your influence to inspire others and your opportunities to create meaningful impact, especially around fashion, sustainability and the things you genuinely care about.

When the applause fades and the cameras are gone, the work continues.

Our Queen is not expected to have everything figured out. She is expected to keep learning, growing, showing up and using the crown as a platform for something bigger than herself.

So, Future Miss Green Fashion Queen, if you’ve ever wondered whether you could be more than a beauty queen, we think you should keep that thought. 👀

The crown is only part of the story, the woman who wears it has the real impact.

Sometimes, an idea needs time before it becomes a reality.

My journey with sustainability started long before Sustain_It.

From learning about sustainability and SDG 12 to my NYSC experience in Makurdi, and later becoming Miss Green Fashion 2025, each experience shaped how I see waste, fashion, people and possibility.

Miss Green Fashion allowed me to learn, grow, lead and explore sustainable fashion more deeply.

And today, that journey has become Sustain_It—building circular systems and turning textile waste into opportunity that benefits both people and the planet.

This is only the beginning. 💚

While the main Miss Green Fashion 2026 event has moved to next year, we’re not waiting until next year to bring our community together.
