Two weeks into @summerlyorganizing & trying to put myself out there 🥹

On Thursday, I attended my first Collaborator Club with @thenextfunthing — basically speed dating, but for entrepreneurs & creatives 🫡

I got to meet so many amazing people, share a little bit about Summerly, hand out my very first stickers + business cards, & hear about all the incredible things other people are building too⭐️⭐️⭐️

Starting something new can be intimidating, but nights like this make me even more excited for what’s ahead 🤍

Here’s to new connections, new opportunities, & growing this little business one step at a time. 🦋

One whole year without you 🥺🐾

I still can’t believe it’s been a year since I had to say goodbye to my gigi girl🥲 I miss you in all the little moments, I still think about you all day long & talk about you all the time like you never left ❤️

You were so much more than a dog. You were my best friend, my little sidekick, my comfort, & every part of my life🫂 I’m so grateful for every adventure, every cuddle, every silly memory, & every year I got to love you💙

Losing you changed my life, but loving you did too & I think that’s the part I want to hold onto most today. 🤍

I hope wherever you are, you know how loved you still are & how much you’ll always be a part of my story✨

One year without you, but a lifetime of loving you. 🦋

30✨

If I’m being honest, I thought I would have life figured out by now🤣

Instead, my twenties were messy. They were beautiful and heartbreaking, exciting and exhausting. There were moments I felt completely lost, moments I felt unstoppable, and moments I wasn’t sure how I was going to keep moving forward❤️‍🔥

But somehow, through all of it, I built a life filled with adventure, incredible people, memories I’ll never forget, and stories I’ll be telling for the rest of my life🤘🏻

I learned that happiness isn’t a destination you finally arrive at. Sometimes the things you’re searching for are quietly taking shape while you’re busy living your life. Purpose doesn’t always appear all at once🌅

Sometimes life is just taking the next step, trusting yourself, and collecting moments along the way💛

So many of us turning 30 this year🎂

One of my favorite moments this weekend was celebrating together with a cake that had all of our birthdays on it. It felt like such a perfect reminder that while life takes us in different directions, we’re all stepping into this next chapter together🌟

As I step into this next decade, I don’t have all the answers. But I have more gratitude, more perspective, more self-compassion, and more faith in myself than I’ve ever had before🥰

This birthday reminded me just how fortunate I am to have family/friends that shows up, cheers me on, picks me up when I need it, and celebrates life’s milestones right alongside me. I wouldn’t be who I am without them & I hope all of you know how much I try to reciprocate💜

And a special thank you to @amandau0913 for throwing this entire birthday weekend for me. From getting the house ready, to planning all the little details, to making sure everything came together, you made turning 30 feel so loved & celebrated. You always make it feel that way. I love you so much. 🥹 & I know @kayhorvath8 really wanted to be at the party, but she was sick 🥲 but we still had all of her decorations she made, her gifts, and her touch of magic so it’s like she was there🪄

And there is one very special little dog I wish I could bring with me into this next decade, but I carry her with me every day🖤

RIP my 20s ⚰️🖤

a funeral for the plot before i enter my 30s next friday🌸

when i moved to LA, i only knew 3 people. this weekend i looked around a full room of people from every chapter of my life — family, music industry friends, kickball friends, old friends, new friends — all showing up to celebrate this weird, chaotic, beautiful decade with me✨

somewhere between the funeral programs, emotionally supportive Oreos, the handbook of the recently deceased, & me accidentally giving a speech while trying to remind everyone to buy drinks so i could hit my $1k bar tab (we did hit the tab lol), i got emotional realizing how much life has changed🥲

my 20s were loud, messy, heartbreaking, unforgettable, and honestly kind of magical. i survived moving away from home, grief, heartbreak, growing pains, dreams coming true, dreams changing, and becoming someone i’m actually proud of❤️‍🔥

the final words in my funeral program said:
“i’ll be different this time.” 😅

honestly? maybe not completely. but i do think i’m entering this next chapter softer, wiser, healthier, and more grateful for the people who have become part of my story🫂

and yes, gigi was still the main character of the party, celebrating her funeral too 🖤

losing her was honestly the hardest parts of my 20s, somewhere in another dimension she was probably barking through my speech and trying to eat the Oreos 🥀

thank you to everyone who came to skinny’s lounge to have the best emo night ever & dressing for the occasion♠️ + apologies for not being able to tag everyone(insta!😡)
