Two weeks into @summerlyorganizing & trying to put myself out there 🥹

On Thursday, I attended my first Collaborator Club with @thenextfunthing — basically speed dating, but for entrepreneurs & creatives 🫡

I got to meet so many amazing people, share a little bit about Summerly, hand out my very first stickers + business cards, & hear about all the incredible things other people are building too⭐️⭐️⭐️

Starting something new can be intimidating, but nights like this make me even more excited for what’s ahead 🤍

Here’s to new connections, new opportunities, & growing this little business one step at a time. 🦋

The music industry taught us how to grind.

Now we’re creating space for it to exhale.

17 years after meeting at Warner Bros., Eric and I are bringing breathwork + sound baths to the community that raised us.

Took me 2 weeks to process that this experience wasn’t a dream. When I was a little girl, I wanted to act in a play, but never told anyone. In high school, my mom encouraged me to join theater, but I thought it wasn’t cool. In college, I came so close to auditioning for the spring play, but chickened out. This year, I finally got to experience it…and it was worth the wait.

Dedicating this play to John Kirby, my amazing acting coach, working with an extremely talented director, learning the beauty of theater versus film, made this an incredible journey. I also am grateful for my cast mates who gave it their all, despite countless setbacks. They’re all so dedicated and talented. Working with @andydavoli for the first time was a memory I’ll cherish forever, too 💙

What stands out the most, is the support of those who came out. I was blown away with the amount of friends and family, and regulars from work that were there each night. This industry can leave you feeling alone at times, so having those who believe in you there, means more than you can imagine.

Special shoutout to my mom in the audience, watching for the first time. She has been my biggest fan from the start, has seen the really low lows of this career and the challenges. That night she got to experience a high and it’s a memory I’ll always keep close to my ❤️ .

Thank you Jesus for this incredible journey. Prayer answered 🙏🏻

2023 Wet Hot Hungarian Summer ☀️
I can’t believe it’s already been a year since @reconnecthungary ! Besides meeting these gems, here were some of my favorite moments that I think you shouldn’t miss:
- Central Market Hall Nagycsarnok: you can get more than just ingredients here. Full meals and shopping sit on the top floor of this beautiful building. I did buy paprika and it’s so good I’ve used it all year!

- Széchenyi Thermal Bath: this isn’t for everyone but I was obsessed. If I lived in Budapest I’d be in those saunas weekly

- Thrifting! There are a ton of places just get ready to dig.

- Fekete: good coffee and solid pastry 🥐

- Black Swan Budapest: great cocktail spot

- Printa Design Shop: I bought way too much from here

- Szimpla Kert: for those who like Teder.fm

- Twentysix Budapest: really good Lebanese style bites and great atmosphere

- Go to a Shabbat! I had such a great time and it’s so nice to tap into your community when you travel.
