Just opened in downtown Vancouver! ✨ We recently checked out @sumucanada, a new Japanese fusion restaurant on Burrard Street.

We started with a big selection of yakitori grilled over binchotan charcoal 🍢 Our favourites included the juicy house tsukune, negima chicken, cumin lamb, pork belly, crispy chicken skin, and zucchini with mentaiko mayo.

Next, we shared two mini dons 🍚 The grilled unagi and mango don was a surprisingly delicious sweet-and-savoury combination, while the salmon oyako don was rich and satisfying.

For the main event, we ordered the slow-simmered pork bone nabe with premium Angus beef 🍲 The warm, creamy broth was so comforting and perfect for sharing.

We finished with ice cream, and of course, you can’t leave without trying their bubble tea! 🧋 We ordered the Ceylon red milk tea and osmanthus oolong milk tea, and both paired really well with the food.

Yakitori, mini dons, hot pot, ice cream, and bubble tea—all in one place. There’s truly something for every craving here!
