The color wash for @dr.nut1 A Lange & Sohne Perpetual Datograph.

It’s just water, pigment, and gravity, the easel is at a 45° angle to encourage the paint to flow down the page. This particular background mix utilizes a grainy pigment that leaves the trails on the resulting image. While the finer pigment settles into the paper the larger grains continue their dance with gravity, leaving trails behind them.

@atlwatchsalon was an amazing event! Congratulations @gentilogio and @mrosselli on such a success and for including me on this inaugural Salon.

Thank you everyone who purchased a Mini watch portrait. There were some cool pieces to paint. Bernhard even signed the Mini of his @lederertimepieces CIC 39 Inverto.

@sonkinpeter and @scottsonkin were especially generous with their time.

@watchthereese might be the coolest person.

Loved the merch, especially the @standardh

@atlwatchsalon is nearly here! Oct 11, I’ll be painting Minis live at the show. So naturally I mostly have studio paintings in this slider 😄.
I’m stoked to see some amazing watches and be back in the city that made Sunflowerman.

15 years ago I dropped out of SCAD and walked into H.Stockton to see if they’d exhibit my fashion work. Now I’m back in Atlanta celebrating watches and the watch community.

Some watches deserve more than a wrist shot.

We’re excited to welcome Sunflowerman to the Atlanta Watch Salon. A talented artist, dapper gentleman, and collector who also happens to have called Atlanta home in the past. So, bringing him back to the city that taught him about Southern Hospitality feels especially fitting.

Known for his beautiful hand-painted interpretations of watches, Sunflowerman captures the character of these little analog timepieces that sit at the center of our hobby. A different way to appreciate the details, personality, and stories behind what we collect.

He’ll be painting live at the Salon, and for those who want something truly personal, pre-orders are available directly on the registration page. He will reach out to you for the watch you’d like painted, and he’ll have it completed ahead of time and bring it to Atlanta Watch Salon for a personal delivery.

Only a limited number of pre-orders can be accommodated. If you have a watch in mind, don’t wait.

We can’t wait to see these little works of art come to life through his brush.
