I WILL SWIM TO YOU: A TRIBUTE TO JASON MOLINA out September 5, 2025 on Run For Cover Records. Today we share the first two tracks from the compilation, MJ Lenderman’s rendition of “Just Be Simple” (Songs: Ohia) and Sun June’s “Leave the City” (Magnolia Electric Co.).

The compilation features some of today’s most visionary singer-songwriters paying homage to the late, great Jason Molina through singular interpretations of both Molina fan favorites and deep cuts. As part of this release, we’ve partnered with Static & Distance, the @secretlycanadian run Jason Molina fan community, to offer an exclusive vinyl variant to their subscribers. 10% of all profits from record sales will be donated to MusiCares® Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Fund (@musicares), a nonprofit that helped Molina when he was struggling with addiction.

Along with this LP, we’re also releasing a limited split 7” featuring a previously unreleased recording of Jason Molina performing “The Last 3 Human Words (Demo)” on side A and MJ Lenderman’s rendition of “Just Be Simple” on side B thanks to @secretlycanadian and Darcie Molina (@coxcomb.red).

Pre-order and stream at the link in bio.

Bye bye 2025. Grateful/thankful to report we had some highs to look back on - like that time we played Stubbs and got a hype clap from Dr dog as we ran to stage, and @cathlin.mccullough took some beautiful photos of us before/during/after a wardrobe malfunction. Let’s all get through 2026 together 🥲🧡💫
