Day 24: TWEAKER Dragonfruit

We’ve reached the end of what will surely go down as my least popular social media idea yet. I’m sad to see it go but excited to drink more energy drinks I actually like lol. I figured Tweaker would be a good closer because of the absurd name, however it’s ironically one of the most basic low caffeine options I’ve reviewed? It’s a mild 110mg of caffeine, I won’t be tweaking off that. It says it contains “BCAA+” but no other supplements overtly advertised and I don’t taste anything medicinal in it. By no means is it bad, it’s a fairly basic acceptable “fruit flavor” that is sort of like dragon fruit but really just a vague concept of fruit in general. It’s just kind of.. there. A little bit of caffeine, a little bit of flavor, but nothing that really jumps out at me as anything above a B tier. I hope all 5 of yall reading enjoyed my morning ramblings about mid energy drinks. Go grab a Lost and Found Cream Soda for me. by @sunk_cost_

Day 23: MAC Orange Creamsicle

This one is nice! I was a little scared cause it’s got a lot of random supplements and talk of “ketones” and “brain boosting,” which usually means it will taste a little foul. It’s not bad, though. Maybe a little too sour for my taste but otherwise a pleasant orange cream flavor. No sugar and 200mg caffeine, 2000mg ketones (what does that even mean), 250mg Cognizin (?!). I’m into it but I’d rather pick up something comparable like a Celcius if I had to choose, but it’s not bad at all. A solid B tier, imo. by @sunk_cost_

Day 21: Rat Bastard Fruit Punch

Following up on yesterday’s Miami-themed drink, it’s only fitting we crack open a can of Squelch Juice (iykyk). This one is actually pretty good, it’s a fairly basic but not-off putting generic fruit punch taste. It has a solid caffeine content at 200mg with not too many weird supplements added. It’s zero sugar and has a sort of “diet soda” lingering aftertaste but it’s not entirely unpleasant. I think this is a textbook A tier because it’s just good and powerful but with nothing crazy to report about it, no major drawbacks but nothing amazing about it that could elevate it to a full S. It’s just good and reliable with a solid caffeine punch, definitely recommend. by @sunk_cost_

Day 20: Batch 27 Miami Vice

This one is a pleasant strawberry and pineapple flavor. I was apprehensive about it because often times the zero sugar energy drinks with fruit-forward flavors can be really bitter and closer to a sparkling water but this one is fairly nice. It’s really nothing to write home about, but I also have no issues with it. It’s 180mg caffeine, no sugar, taurine, and there’s that “VitaCholine” again; but no weird medicinal taste. I can only assume the amount of energy drinks with “Miami” flavors (ie Bang Miami Cola) = a coke joke? But this ain’t high enough caffeine to get me to full Miami levels so I’ll sit it at a solid B tier. by @sunk_cost_

Day 18: Grizzly Energy Blue Creamsicle

This one isn’t bad! I wasn’t sure I’d like it cause the can is giving protein-packed workout bro energy but it’s not really one of those. It’s a pretty average 160mg of caffeine and your standard taurine/b vitamins/zero sugar etc - no weird supplements or “nootropics.” The taste is mostly good, a nice cream soda-like taste with a hint of a vague “berry” flavor, though it does have that zero sugar slimey aftertaste. Overall I’d say this is a solid B tier, I don’t hate it but it’s not my favorite, worth trying tho. by @sunk_cost_

Day 17: Pussy Natural Energy

I wanted to save this one as the grand finale but I was too tempted and could no longer wait. Surprisingly, I’m not disappointed? I figured it would be another novelty with the same candy taste as all the other cheap novelty energy drinks, but it’s actually a mix of a Redbull clone and a passion fruit/lychee taste (according to the can; to me it registers as a subtle grapefruit taste). I haven’t gotten into the ingredient lists on any of these too deeply but I found it interesting that this one prominently displays lime juice and beet sugar. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised with this one. It could’ve been cheap or even just gross and used the funny name as the only selling point but it’s a surprisingly decent drink. It only has 80mg of caffeine, which is the only real drawback as at this stage of my life I need like 2-3 of these to feel anything lol, but at least it tastes good. Pussy is A tier. by @sunk_cost_
