Shoutout to Kathie! She’s been repping women downhillers since the 80’s and knocks my socks off when we ride! Lucky to have a few laps with her @sunriseskiaz this weekend!

Stole the last 2 pics from her to show how long she’s been a legend 👊 by @sunrisedhmike

Had a great time at the @sunriseskiaz DH4 race this weekend. Took third in the men’s novice 30-39 category. I am grateful for the good competition. I had a blast as always with @kfreakinc & @gabby_gnarly. by @sunrisedhmike

I had an amazing weekend shooting round 3 of the Sunrise Downhill at @sunriseskiaz On the white Apache, Indian reservation, in Greer, Arizona.
If I am going to be completely honest, the mountain biking was not the star of the weekend. It was the immense energy and mesmerizing beauty that surrounded me everywhere I turned and everywhere I looked.
I’m sending a huge shout out to @sunrisedhmike and the White Apache Tribe for your amazing hospitality. It was an experience I will never forget..
With that being said, just finished downloading everything. Here’s a couple of quick teasers of some of the images I caught.
if you were up there racing. Make sure you shoot me a DM with your plate number and I’ll get you over some proofs. by @sunrisedhmike

These incredible photos from Ken Bennett really capture what makes racing at Sunrise Park Resort so special.
The scenery here is absolutely beautiful, but don’t let that beauty fool you—these trails are fast, rugged, technical, and worthy of a true downhill race. Ken did an amazing job capturing both sides of Sunrise: the incredible mountain setting and the intensity of the riders taking on these trails.
Tomorrow is Round 3 of the Sunrise DH Series, and seeing these photos has me even more excited for race day.
To everyone racing tomorrow—have fun, ride smart, give it everything you’ve got, and enjoy being part of what we are building here at Sunrise.
This place is special, and we’re just getting started.
See everyone on the mountain tomorrow!
