2026 MBAA Enduro Series — Round 1
First race in the 40+ Masters category, and what a way to start! It was tight racing all day. Going into the final stage, I was only 1 second behind. I knew I had to dig deep and let it loose—and it paid off! I won the final stage by 5 seconds and secured 1st place overall! I was also able to push through the weekend with my hand injury. Thankfully, the pain was minimal enough to get the job done and keep pushing!

The bike worked incredibly well. Huge thanks to Emigos Bike Shop for getting everything dialed, and shout out to FOX Racing Suspension for letting me rip around on that Podium fork! Also grateful to Padyak AZ for the continued support of my racing.

Big thanks to everyone who came out, the crew who put the race together, and everyone supporting the local MTB scene. The trails were phenomenal, the weather was perfect, and it was one hell of a weekend!

What a way to kick off the season!

Shoutout to Kathie! She’s been repping women downhillers since the 80’s and knocks my socks off when we ride! Lucky to have a few laps with her @sunriseskiaz this weekend!

Stole the last 2 pics from her to show how long she’s been a legend 👊

Had a great time at the @sunriseskiaz DH4 race this weekend. Took third in the men’s novice 30-39 category. I am grateful for the good competition. I had a blast as always with @kfreakinc & @gabby_gnarly.

One of the coolest things about the @sunriseskiaz DH Series was seeing the 6–10 and Novice categories out there sending it! 🤘🔥
This series was an incredible introduction to downhill racing at one of the gnarliest parks in the Southwest. Watching these riders challenge themselves, try something new, and build confidence each race was SO much fun! 👊
We loved cheering every one of these racers on throughout the series. Congrats to all of you for taking on something hard, pushing outside your comfort zone, and making it happen! 🧡💙
And a huge shoutout to our series champions! 🏆
🥇 Connor — 15–16
🥉 Kaan — 15–16
🥇 Jett — 6–10
🥉 Cruz — Open Men’s
🥇 Sawyer — Open Men’s
Way to represent, Scorpions! 🦂🔥
