I made this collage last November on election night, right after I completed my ballot and cast my vote. I had so much hope that Kamala was going to win!! How much happier we all would be now if she actually had won.... #art #abstractart #collage #abstractcollage #mixedmedia #coloredpencil #saddlebackvisualarts #ArtSupplyWarehouse taken in Laguna Hills, California by @sunsetartique

I made this collage for my friend Dee Cox who invited me to the Sawdust Winter Festival in Laguna Beach, CA some weeks ago. We had a great time and I hope we an get together again soon! taken in Laguna Beach, California by @sunsetartique

These are some abstract bookmarks that I made over a long period of time. Eventually, my friend @niki_vandyke fixed them up with tassels, and I think we then offered them as gifts at a special event held at @saddlebackvisualarts. taken in Laguna Hills, California by @sunsetartique

Near my house, some of the hills are entirely covered with "wish flowers" which are said to make your wish come true if you can blow all of the fuzzy petals off the top of the flower. This is impossible to actually do, but I can't help hoping that my wishes will come true anyway! taken in Laguna Hills, California by @sunsetartique

One recent night, I spontaneously drew this weird abstract portrait with various types of markers. It was fun, and I think I'll repeat the process again soon. #art #abstractart #drawing #markers #markerdrawing #doodle #doodleart #portrait #self-portrait #abstractportrait #red-blue-gold #spontaneousdrawing taken in Laguna Hills, California by @sunsetartique

This is the front cover of a small, classic notebook that I decorated just for fun. I've enjoyed many of these notebooks over the years, which I've only ever seen at the famous Art Supply Warehouse in Huntington Beach, California. #art #artsy-craftsy #notebook #ArtSupplyWarehouse #ASW #decorativearts #markerart #mixedmedia #collage #colorfulart #multicoloredart taken in Laguna Hills, California by @sunsetartique
