Life has been lifing darn hard the past four months. I need to make a few photo dumps. Plus there were several trips, worthy of their own posts (Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, OBX, San Diego). I figure if I don’t get to them soon, it’ll be a nice little activity during the winter months. Plus I’m determined to make physical photo albums in 2027.

So what’s new? Well got a little place down at the beach. Been splitting our time between there & the farmhouse. Tirelessly refreshing the farmhouse. Tying off loose ends to get it ready for market. Indeed, I concluded that three thousand square feet plus acreage is a little too much for one person to maintain with all the other hats & plates to juggle.

My vision is to have a little place at coast with the biking conveniences. Then maybe find a piece of land to chip away at. I’m determined to clear & hold space to pursue discipleship & community service. Slow down routine a few notches for more intentional, conscious collaborative living. 🤍

May your blood pressure lower upon viewing.

Taken up on Adam’s Creek, the waterway between Beaufort & Oriental, North Carolina. Seven in the evening in mid September.

Had one red drum snag the crab bait. A quiet, picturesque evening all the while. Humbling to be in such a stunningly beautiful place, call it home.

Asking myself is this actually real life or a wonderful dream.

Sunday dinner bliss

From scratch, white wine lemon caper artichoke heart blistered tomato goat cheese shrimp pasta served with italian dressed greens con blackberries pinenuts salami greek olives. Bread shop bread- I die every time ☺️.

I winged this dinner. No recipe, just a hazy vision for deliciousness. She turned out quite lovely indeed.

Served with homemade tapioca raspberry toasted almond chocolate for dessert thanks to my mother in law.

Such a beautiful way round off the weekend and bring in joy for the coming week. by @sunshine.madre
