MY THIEVES’ CODE - Maarten Inghels

Since 2024, visual artist and writer Maarten Inghels has been applying his own sign system to the pavements of the cities he visits. For each front door, he carefully chooses a symbol based on what he can discover about the resident through the window or the mailbox. Does someone own a lot of books? Is there a cat in the window? Can he hear a dog? Do the posters in the window reveal something about political preferences? Does the resident have a security camera? A garden or a swimming pool?

With this intervention in public space, Inghels investigates and documents the stigmatizing term “thieves’ code”. At the same time, he attempts to make the intimate public. To an outsider, the signs are enigmatic, but with the accompanying legend, the street becomes legible in a different way. The work invites reflection on fears related to migration and the pressure on our privacy.

This woodblock print poster, in A2 format, shows the legend of his personal thieves’ code.

Visit the exhibition Dievencode (Thieves’ Code) at M HKA in Antwerp, on until October 25, 2026. Co-financed by the European Union, the Flemish government, and the Province of East Flanders within the LEADER rural development programme.

First presented at @usbynightfest , the remaining prints have now found their way online!

Two hands, held together as if in prayer, ask to be carried in your memory, alongside all the other images you already hold. Made with gratitude to the Us By Night community, where that big, ongoing conversation of making and sharing comes alive, so the thought can pass from one person to the next, one drawing at a time.

Sebastián Curi (b. 1986) is a Latin American artist and illustrator originally from Argentina, now based in Barcelona. He’s known for his bold, colourful, and playful visual style, often featuring exaggerated human figures and hand gestures with thick outlines and vibrant palettes.

The print debuted at Us By Night 2026 in Antwerp (September 24–26), where copies were printed live each evening on Superdruk’s Korrex Frankfurt proofing press. Additionally, Sebastián took the Stadium Stage as a speaker on Friday the 25th.

👨 Broos Stoffels is a Brussels-based graphic designer and art director. Through his independent practice, he works across print, digital, and spatial design - developing visual identities, campaigns, and scenographies with the kind of enthusiasm that tends to produce fun work. Together with Tim Colmant, he runs Aubergine Press, a small publishing house dedicated to illustration-based publications.

Pro(test)! is a limited edition art print.
The profits go to Doctors Without Borders.

The design reflects the radical optimism of our studio. It reminds us to stand up for what we believe in. Being positive and wanting change is more powerful than giving in to negativity. It connects to the protests happening today, and shows how we—as designers—can use our voice, and our work, to speak up and make a difference.

Supercollect invites artists to collaborate around the printing press, working together on a personal level to produce limited edition art prints. This collaboration was initiated in the context of an invited talk at Let’s Talk Design, resulting in 50 limited edition screen prints.

Stefhany Y. Lozano is a Colombian artist and illustrator based in Leipzig, Germany. Her vibrant, geometric compositions are inspired by 1980s aesthetics, personal memories, and cultural narratives. Working across painting, illustration, and textile art, she explores themes of identity, emotion, and transformation. A mirrored bitmap landscape where texture and self-reflection collide.

REFLECTERENDE STREPEN by Edouard Schneider is now available online.

This print is a rework of his larger artwork currently on display at @naftfest.be in Sint-Niklaas — and the first in a series we’re releasing in collaboration with the festival.

The Facts: Edouard Ernest Emile Victor Schneider was born in 1995 in Mouscron.
More relevant is that Edouard is less a reader of characters than a creator of them. Even more significant, however, is that he is a graphic artist, living in a world where typography bends boldly into optical illusion, where rhythm dictates the regularity of the graphic form.
Edouard revels in geometric playfulness, turning art into graphics and graphics into art. Think of patterns, grids, and textures that navigate between order and disruption.
As one half of the design studio @letterlik , he creates lettering for clients. In between client projects, Edouard designs exhibition walls filled with his own work.
