"I don't look at the Supernote as a replacement for an iPad, which I have here, or a Wacom, which I have here. I look at it as a different class, that strength is in note taking. The analog to note taking in art is sketching."

@robertkohr says it plainly. Then he shows what it looks like on his desk.

A pen with a super thin nib. A screen with unique texture to it. A charge that lasts. Tools chosen on purpose. Nothing to distract, he says.

Robert did Flash animation on Dora the Explorer, was a VFX supervisor at @nickelodeon, and helped build an animation team in New York. What he uses Supernote for is the step before the finished thing. Ideation. A pause.

digital, analog, as long as i can put my thoughts out without judgment of others, ESPECIALLY MYSELF, is a safe space for me

1 year since i made one of my biggest life decisions at ang daming nangyari and to be honest i havent been doing my stream of consciousness writing daily compared to before.. now more on by chunks of weeks and when i can

tho i still am consistent with my entries in the ios journal app

i lost my train of thought

anyway

i love keeping things travel friendly, kaya i keep a digital journal, i have a traveler’s notebook, and a digital notebook to keep everything accessible

for sanity daw ganun

InkHub Monthly Picks Vol.3: A Summer Feature

Cicadas outside the window. Big white clouds stacked in a blue sky. A game that ate your whole afternoon in an air-conditioned room. Watermelon by the sea. Summer vacation is long over for most of us, but the feeling still shows up in the air sometimes.

This combined July-August edition is built around that feeling: a few charming, kid-brained finds, plus some small games you can play on your Supernote with no Wi-Fi connected. by @supernote_official

Here is our latest #Screenwriting Case Study.

Damon Whitaker has been writing professionally for decades, screenplays, TV, film. When he sat down to revise a science fiction screenplay he'd optioned years ago, updated technology, restructured geopolitics, refined character arcs, he ran the entire revision process through the Supernote Manta.

My love for life drawing and quick studies has recently returned in full force! I even spent a good portion of my birthday wandering around and sketching at the DIA :3c

A huge thank you to @supernote_official for letting me try out the Manta notebook! I’ve had so much fun with it so far

"I feel like art is like a lifelong journey where I'm never going to feel like I'm the best at everything. But it's really great when your passion shows through and people are able to connect to it."

@angelaanimates didn't plan on comics. Disney asked her to adapt a short film she'd made, and she never quite left that room. Now she draws Lucy's Endless Night, a vampire webcomic, 11000 people waiting on the next page.

Her Supernote is usually where it starts. Thumbnails, dialogue scratched in the margin, five layers, no color, a needlepoint pen for lines that don't wait to be finished before they're honest.

Those who know me will know that I’m a huge personal knowledge management (PKM) geek 🤓 and I’m very happy to report that I’ve officially converted from paper to Supernote.

TLDR on the move: I think it captures everything I love about handwriting—the tactile experience, the slower pace, and the thinking disguised as doodling ; while adding everything I love about a digital system—portability, searchability, flexibility, the ability to connect ideas from different notes.

I have since moved 90% of my notes to Supernote, including my yoga sequences, reading notes, meeting notes, writing drafts, workshop planning, etc.

The only thing that still lives on paper is my journal. This is a deliberate choice because I don’t use my journal the same way I use my work notes. My journals are records of my existence, so I don’t want it to mix with work, knowledge management or productivity. I usually dedicate one journal (book) to a quarter, a year or a season of my love and I truly love the idea of these seasons existing as its own physical book on my shelf.

Lastly, this Supernote was #gifted to me, but all opinions are my own after two months of testing. If you’ve been curious about e-ink notebooks, shoot me your questions! by @supernote_official
