3 years ago when I started shooting, I never imagined podiuming at a match let alone a @thetacticalgames regional.

My decision 6 months ago to compete in this event came during a very big transition in my life. I was left with a lot of unknowns and a lot of reflection on myself. I had a near complete reset and I didn’t even know where to start. I prayed and just kept telling myself to lean into it any chance I got. God brought me further than I ever thought I was capable of.

I have been continually blessed with the help and presence of some incredible people since starting this journey and I owe it all to them for helping me reach this point. The words of advice from these people rang in my head multiple times during stages at the exact time I needed them. Thank you all!!

I want to specifically shout out @r3b3l10 for pulling me aside a few years ago at a match when I didn’t even know him and telling me that I was holding myself back from shooting as fast as I was fully capable of. He took the time to hold me back at that stage and forced me reshoot it at the level he saw that I could. I think about that a lot and it’s so much more important than you know.

I want to also shout out @crossfitpriorlake for helping me prep for this. Thank you to their awesome coaches and the people I’ve gotten to meet from there. I couldn’t have relied on shooting alone to get through it. Go check out their gym, you will not regret it.

Lastly, thank you to the other competitors and @thetacticalgames staff, you did NOT make it easy!😂 I always preach about community and it’s because I genuinely believe that this is one of the best communities in the world. Countless times I’ve seen people move mountains to help and push other shooters that they met just minutes prior. It’s just how this game is, we all understand it’s not easy & we all started somewhere.

The last 4 slides are an example of that and a reminder to look back to see how far you’ve come.

The final stage of @minnesota.multigun Wednesday Night Series. These matches have been great training element and I’ve been able to learn a lot over the past 12 weeks from them, but you wouldn’t guess it by this run 🤣

Added some @gunfighter_targets to the range day to keep things fun. Their flipper pistol targets are simple to transport and easy to set up. Perfect when you already have a truck full of kit and target stands to bring to the range. We are proud to be using their products on training day and @therepsmatch !
