We are very proud to announce that @2ifbyseatactical will be partnering with us for every REPS match going forward!

They are a local gun store and range that reached out because they want to get involved with the wonderful community of shooters in Minnesota.

Austin and his team will be supporting us not only by lending a hand with the REPS matches but also providing sweet prizes for you to grab from the prize table!

This partnership has a lot in store and we hope you are just as excited as we are. More prizes, more events, and more antics are sure to come so give them a follow and come check out their amazing facility in person!

This was one of the most rewarding moments I’ve been lucky to be a part of.

I take no credit for Kyiah’s interest or progress with shooting. I only provided a match for her to take part in. If anything, it’s the competitors and friends that have given her the confidence and warm welcome to our little community that deserve the credit. They (You guys) are the reason she has gone all in on competing!

This kid is really learning fast and she’s got an amazing instructor at home. She even stole her dad’s dry fire targets and put them up in her room. I’ve been told she practices 3-5 times a week which is about 3-5 times more than most of us😂

I can’t wait to see her progress as a shooter with the REPS team and fellow competitors there to support her.

I’m proud of how far you’ve come in such little time Kiddo, and I’m glad that you now have an AWESOME @smithandwessoninc blaster to take with you on your journey.

This is what it’s all about.

Last Saturday I competed in my first 2Gun competition with REPS at the Faribault Gun Range. I was extremely nervous walking into the competition with no 2-gun experience. I didn’t know what to expect or how to prepare for my path of travel. Thankfully everyone was super awesome, all the participants in Squad 2 and the ROs walked me through on how on to take on the courses. I walked into this competition with the goal to now DQ as from what I’ve heard with new shooters it’s pretty easy to do. Stage 1 I was nervous but thanks to Austin at @vpframeworx he helped calmed my nerves and I felt like I did well. Stages 2&3 I didn’t do so well as I timed out with some technical difficulties with my gear. Stage 4 I was determined to kill it but with my frustration I said not so good of words as I ran out of ammo.

My take aways from the day were

•reminded myself I did good with being new shooter and not being hard on myself as I wanted to be good at anything that I do.

•invest in a better battle belt

•plan your every step to save time.

•get a double stacked 9mm pistol

•keep practicing and learning

Something’s I was proud of was pistol reloads I felt went really smooth, being able to remain calm in the moment of course and having fun for a first time shooter and not being hard on myself.

Overall I had a ton of fun and I will be doing more competition shooting with REPS! I want to thank again all the awesome people that participated that helped me and taught me so much, I want to thank Austin at @vpframeworx and the other ROs that were so understanding and let me move down on the list to watch the other participants before I felt ready to go, thank you to @joshparr17 for inviting me out to come give it a try and also for let me practice with him earlier in the year and lastly I want to thank Trevor at @therepsmatch for putting on an awesome match and also walking me through the process at check in, I had a blast and I’ll be back better than before.

Who doesn’t love running and gunning with a rifle !!! Really enjoy the long range aspect of the game (it’s my favorite part) but there’s just something about hoser rifle stages..
