I tried paddle boarding with SUP Shellharbour, and I cannot recommend Bec highly enough.

She's a national SUP surfing champion and an ASI accredited instructor, but her biggest strength is in how she reads people. Complete beginner, nervous, fit, experienced, or professional: she works out who's in front of her and shapes the session around them.

They're a mobile school and operate on the Minnamurra River and Lake Illawarra for SUP sessions.

What they run:
👉 Private and group lessons, beginner to advanced
👉 Sunrise paddles
👉 Night SUP with underwater lights on the boards
👉 SUP surfing
👉 SUPFit and SUP Yoga with sound bath
👉 Indigenous SUP tours led by local Dharawal people
Kids, school groups, corporate and team building
👉 Accessible locations with wheelchair ramps, and private sessions tailored to individual needs

The surf check involves a lot of contemplation... the surfer checks the Apps, feels the wind, looks for swell, and can drive to way too many spots before deciding to paddle out! Today, we arrived, we surfed, we were happy 😊 taken in Shellharbour North Beach by @supshellharbour
