While many people associate Flow Acrobatics with flips, floorwork and dynamic movement, partnering is where many of the deeper principles come together. Our approach is heavily inspired by Contact Improvisation and Martial Arts. From Contact Impro we learn listening, weight sharing and moving as one body. From Martial Arts we borrow timing, structure, redirection of force and the ability to work with momentum instead of against it. The goal isn’t just to perform impressive lifts. It’s to develop sensitivity, trust and the ability to adapt instantly to another person’s movement. When both partners stop forcing and start communicating through movement, partnering becomes less about strength—and more about flow. Next Flow Acrobatics workshop: B12 Festival 🇩🇪 6-9 July Amsterdam 🇳🇱 20-24 July Santa cruz 🇵🇹 3-7 August Athens🇬🇷12-13 September Basel 🇨🇭17-18 October Montevido 🇺🇾 26-30 October More info and registration on the website, link in bio.
