These upholstered theater room walls received a considerable makeover! From a dated Old World color palette we coated the fabric with a hand applied luscious black sparkly metallic finish with a strié texture, with the original damask pattern telegraphing through adding another layer of dimension . The crown molding also got a refresh from a heavy gold to a beautiful pearly champagne finish. Now we can add refinishing over fabric to our bag of tricks! Video doesn’t do it justice, so pretty in person😍 taken in Scottsdale AZ - Silverleaf by @surfacerefinements

We wrapped up this large fireplace using 2 different lime plasters and added some interest with the linear pattern. The beautiful texture isn’t visible in the photo but in person the look and feel is so unique. Nice to be able to offer options for these focal points, fireplace walls are opportunities to create some specialty finishes! taken in Scottsdale, Arizona by @surfacerefinements

Smaller spaces can still have a big impact 😍Since it appears that I spend a significant amount of time in powder baths why not be surrounded by a little glam and sparkle 💖 We troweled and textured a Venetian plaster, applied mixed metal metallic bands and accented them with some silvery moon glass shards and white gold glitter. Guaranteed that when we have the pleasure of working with Nadia Simon it’s going to be a wonderful project ❤️Working on the next space, stay tuned! by @surfacerefinements

Electrician reinstalled the sconces and snapped some nice pics! The beauty of a custom hand applied finish, imperfectly perfect and not mass produced. There’s a story to it each and every time. ❤️ by @surfacerefinements

Happy to announce that this one is a wrap!

My videographer skills leave something to be desired, I can never capture the nuances and beauty of what it looks like in person or the actual richness of the colors, but we are super pleased with the end result. Many layers involved and sometimes it feels like it is never ending, but is kinda worth it.😉 All done by hand, no wallpaper involved in this space! taken in Desert Mountain, Scottsdale, Arizona by @surfacerefinements

Fireplace a wrap! We applied a multi layer contemporary abstract finish to finish off the space in this master bathroom. The video isn’t the best but it’s quite dramatic in person! by @surfacerefinements

A little transformation from white walls to a moody sultry jet black strié with some white gold and black sparkle! Why have a boring powder bath when there are soooo many options to create a jewel box😍 Amazing repeat clients, always a pleasure to work in their lovely home! by @surfacerefinements

A little sneak peek of a large master suite recently completed. Awaiting furnishings! A very soft blend of pearlescent ivory and champagne gold tones in a luscious plaster . Even applying it is therapeutic! by @surfacerefinements

We took the white walls of this key drop area and added a little personality with this fun riveted brass dot pattern😍 The background is a layered textural finish in a soft pallete of creamy champagne and gold and creams and mannyyyyyy little antiqued brass embossed dots! Absolutely loved working for this wonderful client and loved collaborating with Nikka Bochniak of RnR Interior Design. by @surfacerefinements

Sometimes it’s nice not to need 2 levels of scaffolding!
We recently completed this master bathroom that had suffered some water damage. We had the opportunity to embellish the vanity wall with a custom blend of pearlescent plasters in this lovely soft shade and added a sparkling raindrop pattern in a soft amethyst shade. The remaining walls were a lighter version of the same pearlescent plaster. The palette truly compliments the vanity and countertops❤️ by @surfacerefinements

A little sneak peek of a not so little 4 sided fireplace! So dreamy in person, a blend of the softest pearlescent plasters went into creating this custom finish. This home is absolutely magnificent! So grateful to have had the opportunity to add our artistry on such a grand “”canvas” ❤️ taken in Paradise Valley, Arizona by @surfacerefinements
