THE SURFCARTOON BOOK is now available 🤙

After years of drawing waves, surfers, characters and all the little stories that make surfing so special, I’m happy to officially announce Ocean Vibes, a collection of 70 of the most iconic Surfcartoon drawings and posts.

This book wants to be a journey through the ocean, surfing culture, humour and the good vibes that connect surfers around the world.

🇮🇹 100% Made in Italy
The book is entirely produced in Italy, together with a historic Italian printing house, using high-quality, eco-sustainable paper.

Every single drawing was originally handmade by me, from pencil and watercolour to the final artwork. No AI-generated artwork. Just handmade lines, colours and surf stories.

This book is now available in A4 and A5 formats.

Ocean Vibes is designed to be a perfect coffee-table book and a special addition to any surf book collection.

Women are becoming increasingly present and powerful in the surf scene, from international organizations supporting communities through empowerment and social change, to world competitions where women are badass at surfing.

The stereotype of the sexy, blonde female surfer is slowly changing. But challenges, discrimination and unwanted behavior are still often reported.

What has your experience been, as women and as men? Have you witnessed or experienced these dynamics in the lineup or in the surf community?

We’re all witnessing the increasingly rapid arrival of AI in our lives. It’s an extraordinary technology, but it also has many dark sides … including the possibility of ultimately wiping us out, or, in the best-case scenario, replacing us in the jobs we do.

The speed at which AI is evolving is exponential. But for now, at least, the lineup is safe from AI. 🏄‍♂️

We paddle out for the surf. We chase and play with the waves, we fight the waves too, and sometimes we even try to beat them. 🌊

Every surf session is a little different.
Some sessions are pure fun, some are a battle.
We fall, we get back up, we paddle again and we keep chasing that perfect wave.

Because that’s what surf is about:
having fun, playing, pushing yourself, fighting for the wave… and enjoying every second of the session.

At the end of the day, no matter who win, because being out there is always worth it.

Surf is the e best sport in the world. 🤙🌊
