So many people have told me that they were actually present during the infamous 1986 riot. It wasn’t a political thing, it was just teens and testosterone! Fueled by alcohol, of course, and a good dose of bikinis. A combination made for Mayhem. I want to thank @dennis_jarvis for the surfboard and @rickyblake for the inspiration to paint it. Come down to the HUNTINGTON BEACH international Surf Museum, and check out the finish product. I hope you like it, let me know in the comments below. And in the meantime, I gotta get back to Painting!

Here's a photo recap of the Surf Expo Italy. Overall, it was a great experience, and the photos are a good way to give you an idea of the place and everything that happened.
Surf Expo Italy is the biggest surfing event in the country, so it was a real honor to be part. The vibe was amazing. There were plenty of events, lots of people, and a real passion for surfing everywhere.
The main stage was set right on the shoreline, with an incredible view. There, I gave a talk about the new technologies that make it possible to create surfable waves outside the ocean. It's a fascinating and growing topic here in Italy.
In the workshop area, I hosted a drawing session for the youngest surfers. They did an amazing job, we learned a lot together, and at the end everyone received a Surfcartoon card.
A big thank you to everyone who came by, attended the talks, joined the workshop, and sent messages of support. It really means a lot.
