Hey mermaids! 🧜🏼‍♀️ This is your sign to save your shoulders! 🪧

I don’t know who needs to hear this but it doesn’t matter your surf level, you absolutely need to warm up! 💦

Take it from me, an athlete my whole life and super strong, but never properly warmed up and eventually sustained a SLAP 2 tear in my rotator cuff, and was suggested to get surgery. 💥 👨‍⚕️

Thanks to @doctor.masi and @missjessika @contrasportsclub and these movements I’ve been able to surf 3-7 days a week! 💪🏽

Save this, take five minutes and happy surfing! 🏄🏽‍♀️

**pro-tip that elastic band fits in your wetty or swimsuit and subs as an emergency tourniquet!

Women are incredible!!

And kind supportive women who look through the lens of sisterhood rather than competition are my people. 💫

It is such an honor to hold containers of community and joy and raw honest vulnerability and I am forever grateful for the experiences of my life that have led me to these spaces. 💕

This was my first (unintentionally) woman’s only retreat and I gotta say - no shade to the men out there because I LOVE men and respect all they stand for and fully believe and support their roles in our world and the lives of women- and also, there was something so magical about being in the presence of all women. My mermaids : @curlsandkelly @jessnicoleh @lindsaypete @sassytassi @emilyyholl @yalmondjoy @_sallymcg Such an honor, such a gift, and so much fun!!! 🌊 🤍🐚🧜🏽‍♀️
