Omafiets staff bike check: Aidan’s Surly Cross Check.
Starting with a stock cross check frame Aiden spent too many hours of his life painstakingly removing the paint, and then with help from LoveGunPaintworks repainting in a gold base with acetylene torch smoke swirls over the top. 🔥100% worth it when you see this paint up close !

We are running a film night and bike games on Thursday 8th October. It’s completely free, fun and family friendly!

Hosted just down the road with the legends at Heaps Normal Social Club in Marrickville, with a local food truck on site.
Any and all bikes welcome, expect some fun and inclusive games with prizes from Brooks to be won !

We are screening a film called “Tall Bikes Will Save the World” by the Zenga Bros as part of building a bit of excitement in anticipation of next year’s Weird Bike Ride !

Don't know how they do it, but yet another adventure with @omafiets which exceeded expectations. Overnight bikepacking from Windsor to Ourimbah via St Albans. So much sweet off-road and some beautifully paved roads for smooth descents just when you want it.

Great company, beautiful riding and the right amount of misadventure!

Thank you so much Olli and Zach for being our ride leaders.

New bike day - Nathan picked up his new custom Ogre in ‘Landcruiser blue’ colour way a few weeks back.
Equipped with the ultra reliable Shimano Cues, Hope/Dt Swiss wheels and topped off with bits from Jones, Thomson and Brooks it’s going to be cruising the land for many years to come.

🇨🇦 Quebec Bikepacking Traverse • Day 7 & 8 • 69km – 1000+ / 26km – 200+

🇬🇧 A day tracing the coast on a beautiful bike path, finally a real one, set apart from traffic, with breathtaking views over the St. Lawrence. The weather was good enough to convince us to cut the day short and spend some time in Parc national du Bic instead. The next day was a short hop to Rimouski, where we caught a bus to skip a stretch of road riding up to Amqui, the starting point of the Transgaspésie.

🇫🇷 Une journée à longer la côte sur une superbe piste cyclable, enfin une vraie voie verte à l’écart de la circulation, avec des vues à couper le souffle sur le Saint-Laurent. Le beau soleil nous donne envie d’écourter la journée et de profiter du parc national du Bic. Le lendemain, une petite étape jusqu’à Rimouski, où nous avons repris un bus pour nous éviter un tronçon de route jusqu’à Amqui, point de départ de la Transgaspésie. taken in Bic National Park by @surlyoz
