Still reminiscing over this BEAUTIFUL wedding🥹💍

Getting to photograph such a special day for my close college friend and her hubby made this one even more meaningful🫶🏿

And the last photo STILL cracks me up 😂😂

I learned A LOT from wedding photography, it’s a different skill set…from anticipating moments to posing, lighting, timing, and simply learning how to move through a wedding day as a photographer.

Now I get to take everything I learned and apply it to the next one 📸✨ by @surroundingharmony

Still thinking about a beautiful evening w/ friends ✨

We had the opportunity to attend Felicia Leatherwood’s Root Therapy book tour @felicialeatherwood , surrounded by beautiful views, BEAUTIFUL people and delicious wine at KeKoa Reserves Cellars @kekoareservecellars in Temecula Wine Country

Such rich discussions that centers us to be intentional about the words, energy, and hands we allow around our hair 🙌🏿💯
It’s a part of who we are, that receives too and we should give it nothing short of genuine love, patience, and appreciation.

This wasn’t even supposed to be a shot… but I had an idea and decided to see where it went🫣

No extra equipment needed. using what we already had and trusting myself enough to try something new with directing and executing.

I’m still learning, experimenting, and figuring out my style with videography(it truly is an entire different skill set!), but I can genuinely see the difference from when I started! Ahhh I’m so excited to keep creating and growing and showing you all! 😌✨

I’ve been trying to find my “niche” lately, and honestly, I’ve been wondering …how do I narrow myself down to just one thing?

The more I create, the more I realize maybe my niche isn’t necessarily what I photograph. Maybe it’s how I see.

I love people, small and local brands, nature, details, beautiful spaces, and the stories that come with them. I love finding the art in places that are often overlooked.

I am convinced that I don’t need to fit everything I love into one little box. There’s something valuable in continuing to explore, collaborate, and say yes to the projects that make me curious. That is the art of saying yes 😌

So to my fellow creatives: don’t be so afraid of what’s outside your usual lane. There’s still room to grow outside of what you’re known for. by @surroundingharmony

The bougainvillea was absolutely beautiful, but this mama? She was the most beautiful bloom of them all😍

There’s something so beautiful about making space to recognize the YOU beyond the business, the responsibilities, and everything you’re constantly pouring into others. You are so seen beyond that.

Had to remind this beautiful entrepreneur mama that outside of work, she is GORGEOUS too!

For this anniversary session, they brought more than their love in front of my camera.

They brought their heritage honoring both their Filipino and Chinese roots through the beautiful traditional outfits that represent a part of who they are.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is that looking for a location for a session never really ends 🌸

It’s made me slow down and appreciate the beauty that’s so easy to overlook. Finding little gems like this reminds me that some of the most beautiful moments are here for only a season.

Still.Becoming.Beautiful
I’ve been holding on to this photo for a while now. I think I just wanted to quietly enjoy it.
Butterflies, especially Monarchs have always been my favorite. They symbolize transformation, endurance, and the gentle beauty that comes from change.
