While advertising is our mainstay, we’ve been slowly exploring other formats. 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙖, our first documentary set in Kashmir around the Amarnath pilgrimage, looks at the shifting balance between faith, ecology, and livelihoods in one of India’s most fragile ecosystems.

A non-fiction project is a slow-brewing journey, and we’re deeply thankful to have recently received the prestigious @bitchitracollective grant and mentorship and to be selected for @greenstoriespitch, two incredible platforms for documentary filmmakers. Both reaffirm our path in this new world of filmmaking and help us take the next few steps in shaping the film. ⛰️

Soooo angry and so deeply sad.

Every day there seems to be something that makes me wonder what we are becoming. Women. children. students. It’s endless. Violence in one form or another from one corner of the country or another. You read it, you feel sick, you move on with your day and then the next day there’s something else. Something even worse. Something more dreadful.

What happened to the students at SRFTI is outrageous. How has a place of learning become a place where students have to fear for their safety. How is this ok.

Just soooo amazed by the commitment people bring to their projects. Filmmakers who have been working on them for years and sometimes through incredibly difficult circumstances.

Even though these photos are mostly of us giggling and eating, I’m leaving @dmzdocs with so many inspiring stories and enough fuel to keep going with my own.

Short films are made in equal parts passion, madness, and hope. Hope that people will watch and like what we’ve made.

So, when we heard there were over 12,000 entries and just 18 awards across 8 languages, we were mighty thrilled.

And hearing the jury describe the film in a way that perfectly captured our intention behind making it was surely the cherry on top of the evening.
