reading my entire TBR!! 🧚🌟🌨️ The perfect whimsical, wintry read for fantasy and Pixie Hollow lovers! This was so achingly romantic. And I will absolutely be reading all of this author’s books because her way with words is breathtaking.

Before she became queen of Pixie Hollow, Clarion spent years training for her position. And upon the looming arrival of her coronation, Pixie Hollow faces a dangerous threat. To banish these monsters, Clarion must secretly team up with The Warden of the Winter Woods. As they grow closer, she must choose between love and her duty.

I must highlight Allison Saft’s tremendous writing. Her prose is so strong, and she’s excellent at establishing a scene. I loved the fairytale atmosphere, and she made Pixie Hollow feel so lively and magical.

And the romance was beautiful. This felt more like a romantic fantasy with the main focus being on Clarion and her queenly duty. I loved the yearning and wistfulness of the romance. Milori’s love for her was so pure and unconditional. I also loved how Clarion had strong leadership qualities.

This was such a nostalgic book too, since I grew up loving the Pixie Hollow computer game. A fantastic read for winter!

reading my entire TBR!! 💘🍂🏉 This book reminded me why I love sports romance so much, and it’s been a while since I’ve binge read a college romance like this! But this had everything I love in a sports romance...focus on the sport, tons of chemistry, and most importantly, a tight-knit friend group.

After an incident at his previous London university, Cillian has one last chance to make his rugby dreams come true...transferring to a US college. Except everyone on his new team hates him. Everyone except Rory, his coach’s daughter. And they quickly make a pact with each other, where she’ll help him befriend his teammates, and he’ll give her dating advice.

This was the absolute perfect length for a book like this. The romance was paced perfectly, and I loved the build-up of Rory and Cillian’s tension. Friends to lovers will always be a peak trope in contemporary romance. I also loved Cillian’s emotional depth and backstory. I also liked the will-they-won’t-they at the beginning, but there wasn’t any annoying miscommunication once they got together.

And the side characters were incredible. I loved how entertaining the found family friend group was, and there were so many scenes where I was laughing out loud. I hope they all get their own books and can’t wait for more in this series!
