POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Just wanted to make a post saying how grateful I am to have you all here!! 📖🤍

I wanted to create a bookstagram for so long but put it off because of how scared I was to put myself out there. So happy that I finally decided to make one three years ago. I’ve just now worked up the courage to start posting talking videos and branch out into a little bit of different content. The support that this community has given me is more than I ever could have imagined. If you are thinking of creating an account, just go for it! You won’t regret it!

I saw @bookswith_jes make a post like this! Thank you for the inspiration 🤍

Tag some of your favorite accounts in the comments 📖

I’m also tagging some of my favorite accounts!! 🤍🤍

It’s that special time of year when the temperatures cool down a touch, the mornings get closer to crisp & used book sales are close.

This weekend is the Used Book Sale at Arapahoe Library system @arapahoelibrary ! Just outside of Denver, this library system is pretty awesome (if I say so myself).

Here’s my haul of the books I took home.

🔭 Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody & Joanne Rendell. This book is signed, has a map & a read when finished with the book insert in the front. I snagged it right up.

🌖 Girl Who Chased The Moon by Sarah Addison Allen. I read this book forever ago but fare was telling me to read it again.

📝 Don’t Forget To Write by Sara Goodman Confino. I was influenced by seeing the author on threads.

🪦 Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas. My friend @tc_booksandmore posted about this book, so I added it to my bag. 💗

🗒️ Linked by Gordon Korman. My son loves all the spy school books so I grabbed this one for him.

✨ The Giver by Lois Lowry. It’s a must read. This is for the family.

🧪 The Alchemyst the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott. I knew the name from a different book series and hope my daughter will give it a chance. She LOVES fantasy.

🧜‍♀️ Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep by Liz Kessler. Got a shelf trophy so my daughter can reread the series.

🕵️ Spy School at Sea by Gordan Korman. This is my son’s favorite series. If he already had it I was prepared to add to a lending library. He didn’t have it in hardback so glad I got it. That’s my kid 💗

👑 Crown of Three by J.D. Rinehart. The cover and blurb sounds right up my daughter’s alley.

⁉️Do you shop at used book sales?
I’ve found so many winners at library sales.

Used Book Sale • Library Sale • Support Literacy

Is it just my library system or is there a major lack of fantasy, romance & science fiction at the used book sales?

I looked for 15 mins then went to the kids section.

@susancarolynn & I meet up coincidentally each year at this sale. Honestly seeing other book lovers is just as fun as finding the treasure in the stacks. White blanket background with a green plant and many used books

My 5⭐️ reads + their 1⭐️ reviews😂📚

Nothing like seeing someone rate your favourite book 1⭐️ and having to remember that ✨different opinions exist✨ 😭

Honestly, I love seeing how differently we all experience the same books — even when I’m sitting there like 👁️👄👁️

Which of these books are your faves? (Or least faves)? 🤩🙈💗

Happy National Book Lovers Day to all my fellow book lovers 🖤

I wanted to combine this with Shout Out Sunday to give some love to some of my favorite bookish accounts.

I’m so happy to be in a place to talk all things book with people who love it as much as I do (since my friends IRL are probably sick of hearing me talk about it 😆).

Don't judge a book by its cover (unless it's bedazzled).
