Excited to share a few photos from Entwined, my solo exhibition currently on view at NYUAD Project Space! Come join me for the opening reception on August 22, 5:30 - 8 pm.

A big thank you to the wonderful @nyuadartgallery team and @rabi_geo for making this show possible.

“In Entwined, Susan Doe unveils a series of paintings, sculptures, and installations through which she explores ideas of intersectionality, rooted in her own bicultural upbringing. Reflecting on her Chinese American background, the artist blends together disparate elements. Through this process, she plays with illusions of materiality, making metal threads appear soft and transforming woven paper into large solid sculptures.”

On view until Sept 17. taken in NYUAD Arts Center by @susandoestudio
