Life recently ☀️🍦✨ by @susannaposton

So thankful for @sheldonsmithsports for capturing such a full circle moment for me!

A year ago, I was in New York watching @smashbway . This week I was singing “Let Me Be Your Star” on the Miss Georgia stage. I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing opportunity and experience this week has been!

What an incredible opportunity it is to share what God has given me!

“Let Me Be Your Star” has been such an important song to me. Seeing @bellacoppola sing this song a year ago in @smashbway was absolutely amazing. When picking a talent song for Miss Georgia, this was one of the first songs I thought of, and it fit perfectly.

I’m so thankful!!! All the glory to God!!!

“Because when I share my talents with others, I make the world a better place”

That is a motto we start every single @juniortheaterfestival with. That motto has stuck with me, and it has made me view auditions as well as competitions so differently. It’s an opportunity to share my story and talent with people who can be moved by it!!

God has given every single one of us something special, and it is our duty to share it with others!

My talent is only doable because God has given me the ability to do it. Because of Him I can do my best- it isn’t just me up there.

So as I take the Miss Georgia stage tonight I hope that message rings true to others. Know that the voice and performance you see is a result of God’s grace and provision in my life!

I’m excited to share what I’ve been working so hard on with everyone, and am so excited to see everyone else perform their talents as well. The Mu group is such a talented bunch!!!

Thinking back to Forum weekend as we reach 71 days until check in at Miss Georgia!

Forum weekend was such an amazing time, and I loved getting to meet all of the contestants for both Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Teen. As a first time contestant, it was a bit intimidating, but everyone there made it such a great weekend!

I’m so thankful that I get to be a part of the Miss Georgia class of 2026!
