POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m delighted to announce my new multimedia online book called Brilliantly Brave, Women’s Stories of Grit and Grace. Since my first book was published in 2015, I’ve met many impressive, inspiring women on my book tours and ten years later, I wanted to honor them. So, I asked a simple question:

“Can you tell me about a time in your life when you were brave?” Their stories, and a
few of mine are contained in this book.

Capturing these stories has given me a profound sense of the women heroes all around me. We women don’t see ourselves that way, but we need to. We are. We revere male heroes in our culture, but now you will see the courageous female spirit alive in these stories.

Enjoy Brilliantly Brave. It’s free to you, and to any others you know who might enjoy it.

Click the Link in Bio to receive my newsletter which will get you to the book, or read on Substack.

One of my favorite moments during Homecoming weekend at #michiganstate was this gift from @haileygosen. I will be proudly wearing it! Thank you Hailey! #msucollegiaterecoverycommunity #healthyspartans by @susanpackard

What a weekend! 10,000 people lined the streets, united in happy celebration of #michiganstateuniversity’s #homecomingparade. And we almost pulled out a win!

Soon I’ll have the honor of serving as Grand Marshall for #MichiganState’s Homecoming weekend, so excited! I hope to raise awareness for MSU’s Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC), students I’ve built friendships with over the years. They are the bravest young adults I have ever met. I’m in long term recovery today but sure wasn’t back in college.

I’m here with @dmkepler, #MSU’s lead staffer for the CRC students. She is a true leader, in wisdom, grace and advocacy.

Thank you for all you do Dawn. by @susanpackard

My brilliant, beautiful niece @laurenalarocco is being inducted into the University of Portland Hall of Fame this weekend for all her athletic and academic accomplishments! So proud of you sweetheart!!🎉🎊🥳🍾🤩 by @susanpackard

I received a very special invitation, to be Grand Marshall for Michigan State’s 2026 Homecoming Weekend. Woo hoo!

I received the invitation when my niece @rachelbolognaa, a recent MSU grad and I were visiting New York. We started jumping and screaming in celebration. Thankfully there’s no picture of that. What a marvelous moment to share with my lovely, amazing niece.

Such a fun time at the Detroit Lions opener! With my awesome nephew and fantasy football mentor @jonbologna1, his girlfriend Kaely and my baby brother David. It was anguishing to watch but we got the W! by @susanpackard

This girl defied the odds a year ago when she was fighting for her life. She wasn’t ready for the Rainbow Bridge. Checkup today went great!💖 by @susanpackard

A big night, as the Tenn Dolls had our draft for #FantasyFootball. Ten women who unabashedly love football, mostly from Tennessee. Dolly is in heaven whooping it up right now over our name! by @susanpackard

I had so much fun recently visiting with collegiate recovery friends. From left, @jacoblignell49, a recent graduate doing inspiring work for families in the field of addiction, @dmkepler, Dawn, a remarkable, impactful and compassionate leader of the #michiganstate CRC program, and my new friend Alivia. (I got permission to show my friends here). I am in awe of each of these humans. Thank you for all you do! by @susanpackard

I was at MSU this week and driven in this crazy, fun Spartan-mobile. I insisted on a photo!
