Mr. Watson is reading over my shoulder again. This is our favorite October read, The River Connects to All the World edited by AngieVorhies, Leo Simonovis, and Cypress Hansen. This book, with moving illustrations and maps honors the Tijuana River with grasses, birds, estuaries, and more. Pelicans and snowy plovers, borders and “Friendship Park.” I’ve read and re-read this book so many times and every time I love it more. Recommended for humans and for the more than human world. by @susanrich18
