Bruh… our first record has been out for a few days now. 3+ years in the making, can’t tell you how good it feels to release these songs. This would not have been possible without the help of many, many people. It is our love letter to the Bay Area and is of course dedicated to our dear friend Noah🕊️ We hope you are enjoying it! If you are, please tell us. If you aren’t, tell us that too. And come to our release show October 3rd at Eli’s Mile High. Sooo much more to come 🤗#gratitude by @suschords

Our first record came out a year ago today. It is really cool that many of you have listened and enjoyed it, because we worked very hard on it. Making music is fun and gratifying and we’ll do another one soon✌️#love u all by @suschords

💡Saturday August 1st, SMARTBOMB presents a night of forward thinking live music with The Signal Tour at Ivy Room @ivyroom featuring F.Mph (@f.mph_) ,a beat set by Dibia$e (@darealdibiase) and a live set by one of our favorite new bay area bands, Pateka (@suschords)
[🎫🖇 in bio🌐]

A four-piece experimental rock group from the San Francisco Bay Area, Pateka’s genre-bending songwriting style draws on the close-knit bond of childhood friends Elihu Knowles (keyboards/vocals), Dylan Ransley (guitar), Quinn Girard (bass) and Ryan Higley (drums). The band, which is based in Richmond, creates a unique blend of synthesized sounds, samples, off-kilter grooves, and expansive, jazz-influenced harmonies. Pateka’s sound has been compared to a variety of artists, including Palm, Badbadnotgood, Sweet Trip, Mid Air Thief, Jon Bap, Sun Ra, Pulgas, Os Mutantes and Standing on the Corner.

Be sure to check out their self titled debut album, "Pateka" and slide thru to experience the boundary pushing energy live.

Join us in the stars for a special alignment of forward thinking sound beings on Saturday August 1st at the Ivy Room.
