An important reminder as we round out this holiday season. Whether you struggle with the holidays or just because it’s a regular day: You matter, you are loved, you are enough. Yes you are. 🤍

For anything I may have done this year to cause pain, anger, or discomfort, I ask forgiveness.

If you're fasting this year, may you have an easy fast.

This is not JUST about taking away a woman’s right to choose for her body, her health. It’s also about other laws about privacy. Most Americans do not want this. Vote when the time comes to show just how much we disagree with this.

Protect our rights. (PS @GOP this isn’t less gov’t.)

💔BREAKING: “The Supreme Court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Alito & obtained by @POLITICO.
⠀
The immediate impact of the ruling as drafted in Feb. would end a 1/2-century guarantee of federal constitutional protection of #AbortionRights & allow each state to decide whether to restrict or ban abortion.” @Politico
⠀
“If the #SupremeCourt overturns or guts #RoevWade, 26 states are certain or likely to ban #abortion. Restrictions & bans on #AbortionAccess are a direct violation of basic #HumanRights & #ReproductiveFreedom. None of the 108 abortion restrictions enacted in 2021 are medically necessary. Their only purpose is to impose a socially conservative worldview & exert control over how people make decisions about their pregnancies.” @GuttmacherInstitute
⠀
“These bans don’t prevent all #abortions. What they do is simply put safe, necessary medical care out of reach, specifically for our lowest-income sisters, queer, trans, & non-binary siblings, Black, brown, AAPI, & Indigenous people.” @AyannaPressley
⠀
“ #AbortionBan s disproportionately harm those who already face systemic barriers to #HealthCare, including BIPOC, those working to make ends meet, women, young people, people with disabilities, immigrants, & members of the LGBTQIA+ community.” @ReproRights
⠀
“Even though Roe is still the law of the land, abortion is already legal in name only in much of the country. The procedure costs hundreds or thousands of $, which patients often pay for out of pocket, & as clinics continue to close, getting #AbortionCare can also mean booking a flight, hotel room, or babysitter. #AbortionFunds are the safety net to fund the logistics of getting an abortion—a net that is badly fraying.” @SueOnTheTown x @ElleUSA
⠀
#AbortionIsEssential support: @AbortionFunds .org

⠀
#WomensHealthProtectionAct would protect abortion at the federal level.
