My time competing at Miss Teen USA 2001 and Miss USA 2007 would not have been the same without Roston Ogata and Susie Dicker now Susie Sitzer.
•
They were two extraordinary employees of the Miss Universe Organization who consistently went above and beyond, treating every contestant with the kindness, respect, and care we all deserved. They generously gave their time, offered thoughtful guidance, and were always willing to help in any way they could. They had a way of making each of us feel seen, supported, and truly valued not simply as contestants, but as the queens we were.
•
I have known Roston and Susie since I was 18 years old, and to still be able to call them my friends at 43 is a gift I will never take for granted.
•
I have always appreciated, respected, and loved them for the role they played in two of the biggest moments of my life. Those experiences changed the course of my life in ways I could never have imagined, and having Roston and Susie there along the way made those memories all the more meaningful.
•
Some people enter your life because of a particular chapter, but the truly special ones remain long after the chapter has ended. Roston and Susie are those people for me, and I will always be grateful that our paths crossed.
•
It’s sad to see that the Organization isn’t what it used to be. I understand that things change with time, but change isn’t always for the better.
•
I will always choose the traditions that not only empower us as women, but also make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through service and volunteer work.
•
There was a time when being part of this Organization meant so much more than photoshoots and fashion shows. It meant having a purpose, representing something bigger than ourselves, serving our communities, and using our platform to make a difference.
•
That’s the tradition I will always believe in and stand behind. ❤️👑 Good luck to all the young ladies and women competing at Miss Teen USA 2026 and the Diamond 💎 anniversary, 75th edition of Miss USA 2026!

In the last few days, I’ve tried to find small moments in each day to find beauty among the sh*t storm of hate that has become our democracy. This is today’s 🤍.

Meet the framily 🤍. The people in our world who fill it with love. It’s still VERY unfinished (if we’ve asked you for a picture, dude what are you waiting for??) but at least this is a start. And I can walk by it everyday and feel our love and that maybe things aren’t quite as dark as they might otherwise be.

I was asked to do interviews on the current events with The Miss USA organization but I don’t know any of the titleholders or current owners so I don’t feel comfortable speaking on something that I don’t have personal experience with. All I have is MY experience…

Sooooooo Yesterday was Mental Health Awareness day. Blessed to be part of the squad with my homies at @drawnfromvalor to share a message today.

It’s okay to just take a minute and pause & acknowledge things for what it is, and take it one day at a time. If you take care of your mind, you can take care of the world. You are more precious to the world more than you ever know.

Starting today, you should do something that your future self will thank you for.
