i don’t think i’ve cried like this before… WE PASSED THE NPTE!!!!! 🎉🥹

words cannot express how overwhelmingly grateful i am. here we are friends 🥹 pending my license being issued by the state, i will be a practicing physical therapist shortly 🙌🏾💓

i passed on my second attempt after failing by 4 points the first time- essentially by 1 question. it was absolutely gut-wrenching not passing — but i am so proud of myself for pushing past that failure and studying another long 3 months to make it here 🥹🌟

in case you didn’t know — my dad has Parkinson’s Disease and has been a huge part of my journey in physical therapy. Amma had a stroke my senior year of undergrad leaving her disabled. this has truly been a journey.

i actually decided to become a PT when i took anatomy as a high school junior and googled jobs with anatomy because i loved the subject so much 😅👩🏾‍🏫 slowly, i found more reasons to love the field: using my knowledge to help my family and my life experience to help my patients ❤️

i wrote those college apps in fall 2016 — ten years later, we have a DPT and have officially PASSED!!! 🥂
