Shared moments of Sinarmas World Academy giving back to our beloved community

POSTS STORIES REELS

Seven years ago, our students joined @habitat_id in Desa Tanjung Duren 🧱 Under the heat, they carried stones, dug foundations, and worked side by side.

It was hard, physical work, but every shovel of soil and every stone laid brought a family one step closer to a safe place to call home.

Years later, what our students helped build still stands today as a symbol of hope to the families of Desa Tanjung Duren, and as a reminder to our whole community that small acts of service can create lasting change!

If it makes a difference, why not do it twice, or even thrice? 📚

In 2018, Sinarmas World Academy not only donated books and copies of the Quran to local schools, but also to the South Tangerang Education Office, so more students across the region could reach for a book and find a new world inside.

Tell us what you’d like to see us share next!

In 2018, Sinarmas World Academy arranged a food drive, and the entire school community also donated books and copies of the Quran to Yayasan Panti Asuhan Yatim Piatu Maktabul Aitam 📚

Eight years on, we are still proud of how the whole community came together to share the blessings of Ramadhan.

Ramadhan reminds us that the best blessings are the ones we share.

In 2018, Sinarmas World Academy held a Ramadhan food drive for Sekolah MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah, so they could share in the warmth and blessings of the holy month.

Years later, this act of giving is still a tradition at Sinarmas World Academy. Every Ramadhan, our community comes together to share, to care, and to keep the spirit of the season alive 🌙

Knowledge opens doors, and in 2018, Sinarmas World Academy helped open a few more 📚

By donating books and copies of the Quran to nearby schools, our school hoped to support students in their learning and strengthen their faith. Every book was a step toward a brighter future for the students who received it.

Eight years later, we still believe that education is best when it is shared and that caring for our neighbours is part of who we are.

Some days stay with us long after they end.

In 2017, our students spent a day at an orphanage nearby. They played games, sat side by side, and filled the room with laughter. Every smile they shared and every story they heard made the day a little brighter for everyone.

The biggest lesson we took is that simply being present, listening, and showing up can mean the world to someone.

Do you still remember the name of this orphanage 💬 Share it with us in the comments if you were part of that day!

Ten years ago, our students stepped beyond the classroom and into a journey of impact that continues to this day 🏡

In March 2016, our students joined @habitat_id. With sleeves rolled up and hands ready to work, they lifted bricks, built walls, and worked side by side to create homes where families could feel safe and sound.

What started that day became part of a bigger commitment: turning learning into action, compassion into purpose, and small acts into lasting impact. Ten years later, that commitment still lives on in every student who shows up, lends a hand, and chooses to make a difference because some lessons are learned, shared, and lived beyond a moment.

Major shoutout to our Class of 2019 when they turned their CAS project into a donation for the Children’s Learning Community 🎒

THEY DID IT 🙌

Through @steps4wheels, Project Limitless brought students, parents, teachers, and neighbours from all over BSD to @thebreeze_bsd, all showing up for one cause. Together with @jakartaswift.basketball, every single Rupiah raised goes straight to funding sports wheelchairs for Jakarta Swift athletes 🏀

Thank you to everyone who came through and made it happen!

#TBT to January 2016 when our SWA community gathered at Panti Asuhan Kasih Mandiri for a Charity Food Drive!

It reminded us that kindness doesn’t need to be grand 🌱 Sometimes it’s just showing up, sitting together, and sharing a meal.
