POSTS STORIES REELS
It all started in 2024, when Anisa, founder of NORM., decided to close the chapter on her 10-year career in tech marketing and go all in on building something of her own. With a decade of marketing experience, a passion for creativity, and a vision to do things differently, she took the leap and launched NORM., a B2C marketing agency focused on helping businesses grow through strategic content, organic marketing, and authentic connections. Fast forward two years, and what started as a one-woman business has grown into a team of 8 talented creatives and marketing professionals specializing in social media management, content creation, video production, organic marketing strategy, email campaigns and brand storytelling. Today, we’re proud to support over 20 businesses across Canada and the US, helping brands build their online presence, connect with their communities, and turn strategic content into real business growth. What started as one entrepreneur with a vision has grown into an agency working with businesses across North America, all while staying true to our Ottawa roots. Our mission has always been simple: create marketing that doesn’t just look good, but actually grows businesses. And we’re just getting started. 🚀 by @sweatandsocials

Content without action is wasted! The best CTAs tap into psychology 👇 **🧠 Forgetfulness** People are busy and CTAs act as gentle reminders, not just prompts. Use urgency + simplicity: “Save this before you lose it” or “Set a reminder now.” Works well for content people intend to act on later (tutorials, deals, event sign-ups). **📊 Polls** Low-effort interaction = high engagement. Polls lower the barrier to entry (one tap vs. typing a comment), which boosts your engagement rate and signals to the algorithm that your content is worth pushing further. Great for warming up cold audiences before asking for a bigger action. **⏳ FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)** Scarcity and urgency drive faster decisions. “Only 10 left,” “Offer ends tonight,” or “Everyone’s talking about this” work because people fear losing access more than they desire gaining something new. Best for sales, limited drops, or time-sensitive content. **❓ Curiosity** The “curiosity gap”: giving people just enough info to make them need the rest - keeps them watching, reading, or clicking. Works well for hooks (“You won’t believe what happened when...”) and driving traffic to a link or next slide in a carousel. **Overall strategy tip:** Match the trigger to your funnel stage: - Curiosity/FOMO → top of funnel (attention, reach) - Polls → middle of funnel (engagement, community building) - Forgetfulness/urgency → bottom of funnel (conversion, sales) Which one do you use most in your content? We film 3 months of content in 1 day. And we can’t do that without a clear strategy, detailed planning, and the right team! We don’t just show up with cameras, we show up with a shot list, a content strategy, and a clear vision for every post. Before filming day even begins, we’ve mapped out your content pillars, identified the stories your audience wants to hear, planned your hooks and calls-to-action, and organized every scene to maximize every minute on set. Every shot is intentional. We already know how it will be edited, repurposed, and distributed across your social channels. That’s how one day of filming becomes three months of consistent, strategic content. It’s not about filming more - it’s about planning better.
