What is Sweat Escapes?

Escape with us to Vilamoura, Portugal for 4 days and 3 nights of movement, mindfulness and sunshine.

Sweat Escapes was founded by James & Georgia - the husband and wife duo behind Sweat Society Surbiton — as a way to bring their community and love for fitness somewhere sun soaked.

Each retreat blends energising workouts, space to unwind, and unreal food from our chefs @oneguyando. Whether you’re joining solo or with a friend, it’s the perfect mix of sweat, relaxation and connection.

Each day is a little different, but here’s the vibe:

• Nourishing breakfasts to fuel your mornings

• A mix of strength and sweat based classes

• Optional group runs or hikes to explore the area

• Poolside yoga or barre to bring the balance

• Time to chill, read, nap, swim or explore Vilamoura

• A light lunch + chef-prepared dinners by @oneguyando

It’s all about movement, sunshine, and good energy — all at your pace. All classes and activities are optional.

Another little blip in time. 🤍

For a few days, ordinary life disappears and our separate worlds converge, old friends, beautiful guests, new walks, new conversations, REFORMER PILATES, ridiculous amounts of laughter, movement, stillness, food, sunshine and everything in between.

Then we scatter back into our own lives again, a little different from when we arrived.

So grateful for the people I get to deepen friendships and meet in this little space we make together.

Going on this retreat taught me so much more than just fitness ✨

It reminded me how important it is to get out of your comfort zone, meet new people, slow down mentally and actually enjoy the process instead of constantly chasing perfection.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time ☀️🤍
