POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Coming to you on this snowy Thursday with an introduction (or re-introduction) and an invitation to follow along!

I’m Meg—the social worker behind the camera at Sweet Home Photography 👋

I created this business to make space for older adults to feel seen, heard, and celebrated through photography. My sessions are rooted in conversation, story, and connection, and use images to honor legacy, support people through transitions, and challenge the fear and stigma around aging.

If you’re new here (or just need a refresher), welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. This space is about slowing down, noticing what matters, and sharing honest, hopeful images of later life. Thanks for following along ❤️

Evidently today is "Treat Yo Self Day" 🤷‍♀️ I didn't know this holiday existed, but I fully support any good reason to practice a little extra self-care 💅

POV: the boss tells you you have to start work early, in the dark, while everyone else is snoring.. and then you remember that you’re the boss 🙋🏻‍♀️

As they say… what a privilege to be tired from work you once begged the universe for ✨

Today is World Mental Health Day! 🧠 As a clinical social worker and a as human, it's a topic that's always top of mind. So in honor of a day that highlights this very important subject, here are a few reminders of how photographs can help support our mental well-being. xoxo, your local Phototherapist ❤️

Today is Ageism Awareness Day, and, like every day, it is part of Sweet Home Photography’s mission to challenge the messages that society tries to send about growing older. I’m grateful for the opportunity to capture people living in direct opposition to these scary stereotypes, and hope that authentic, positive imagery can continue to help to shift the narrative. ✨

Today's event spotlight features the Rochester Walk to End Alzheimer’s hosted by @alzrochesterny . It's a cause that's close to my heart, and it was a pleasure to capture these moments 💜
