“Though I’m not the arbiter of terminology, I humbly rise in an attempt to answer that question and clear things up for my friend and anybody else who might be wondering.

First of all, for perspective, I’m compelled to caution that it may not serve our mental approach to take anything about our game too seriously, particularly the way things are named, lest we fall into zealotry. That’s where the fun ends. Anglers are generally funny and many offbeat, so we come up with a lot of funny and offbeat names for things (creative fun and we relish and enjoy it), however the nomenclature does mostly servingserve some useful purpose.“

The change in season means we are ready to start talking about our annual Seattle/EWA Spey Day this winter.

The first of our friends we are excited to announce will be on hand is none other than @josephgregoryrossano who will be representing @visionflyfishing and presenting on multi-density heads for all seasons.

Joe may have a couple special guests joining him both on water and in the booth, more on that when confirmed.

This event is for and about you!

While we will have a few terrific presentations they will be short and concise on topic because our goal is getting you in the water casting.
