57mm tyre clearance. Road-bike aerodynamics.

The new Factor Elara borrows road-bike geometry and an aero-tuned frame design, then pairs them with 57mm tyre clearance for the courses where speed and capability both matter. Factor claims a 5–8% lower drag coefficient than the OSTRO Gravel with 47mm tyres.

The @factorbikes Elara is out 😍

I got back from Leadville and this bike had just arrived at ECC for me. I had two days before leaving for Namibia for African Gravel Champs but I knew this would be the perfect bike. @marxcycleworx built it up and I had one ride on it before racing. It was perfect and it was fast! 130km of being off the front solo was the perfect way to test its aero capabilities. With 55mm tyres on there and being super aero, I believe it’s the fastest race bike.

Looking forward to many more fast kilometres and race days on this machine, starting with @race2thesea tomorrow 🤟🏼 by @switchback_sports

Meet the Elara: the fastest gravel platform from Factor to date.

Built for the world's fastest gravel courses, the Elara borrows road DNA (longer reach, lower BB, aero-tuned frame) and pairs it with 57mm tyre clearance in a 1x setup (47mm with a 2x). Factor claims a 5–8% lower drag coefficient over the OSTRO Gravel with 47mm tyres.

Available now in South Africa from R97,995 for the frameset to R209,995 for the SRAM Red XPLR build.
