Some bikes are bought
Others are built

This Factor ONE in Silverstone started as a customer’s dream — and rolled out of Mellow Velo as something seriously special.

Aero. Aggressive. Absolutely unapologetic. Every detail chosen. Every component dialled. Every line built for one thing: speed.

We didn’t just build him a bike.
We turned the vision in his head into two wheels of pure attitude.

The Factor ONE- mission completed

The 2026 UCI Road World Championships gets rolling with the Elite Individual Time Trial.

Montréal, Canada hosts the 99th edition of the Championships and for the second time having hosted in 1974 - the first time the Championships were held outside of Europe. The event is running from 20 - 27 September which will see 1,000 riders from 100 nations competing for 13 World Championship titles.

@byron_munton will once again be pulling on the Green and Gold to represent South Africa in the Elite Men’s Time Trial tomorrow when he rolls down the start ramp at 13:16(19:16 RSA).

Byron, the former National Time Trial Champion finished 20th at last years Championships hosted in Kagali, Rwanda. The 39,2km Montréal course has significantly less climbing than last year with only 220m of elevation. However with majority of the climbing coming at the end of the course riders are going to have to monitor their efforts to ensure enough in the tank to finish strong on the climb up to the finish line. A notable feature on the course will be the F1 track, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

The race is broadcasted live on Supersport from 18:35 RSA. It can also be streamed on Tiz Cycling - link in bio.
