Truly grateful to be invited to a friends family cabin up in the northwoods of Canada! The fishing and camaraderie could not have been better. Jonah set his PB Northern Pike at 37.25” and also caught a 35.25”!! The Lake Trout were a little finicky but we managed to find some hungry ones! What an adventure and very thankful for Brian and his family! by @switzer_fishing

Another amazing family Labor Day weekend at the cabin!! Lots of great time spent with family and friends, and lots of fish caught!! Congrats to our good buddy Jake on catching his biggest fish ever, and biggest fish of the weekend! We all enjoyed the great weather and everyone caught fish!! Some highlights from the last week living it up in Minnesota!
- Took a solo camping/floating trip and caught EIGHT MUSKIES in 2 days on 16 miles of river!! What an incredible place!
- Caught my open water Northern Pike personal best at 32.5”!!
- Caught 2 really good sized Bowfin AT THE SAME TIME in a story I still can’t believe!

What a day!!! 🤩🤩🐷🐷
- Jonah nearly got his personal largemouth (TWICE) catching a 21”, 6lbs2oz behemoth in the morning and then a 20”, 5lbs9oz stud in the evening! True northern Minnesota giants! Lots more bass and pike to go around for him and Ant!
- Joe and Peter got on some great Walleye and Pike action in Indiana! Pictures from this weekend and other great walleyes from this summer are included! taken in Honey Hole by @switzer_fishing

It’s been a very busy summer for us all at Switzer Fishing! - Jonah took a 9 day canoeing trip to Canada, and caught his very first Lake Trout and PB open water Walleye! Fishing was incredible, with lots of great fish getting caught!
- All the guys in Indiana have been working hard to find fish in the heat, with some great Walleye being caught as well as finding some Shovelnose Sturgeon!
- Our cousins took a trip to the Indiana waters of Lake Michigan and pulled up some mega Lake Trout!! taken in Quetico Provincial Park by @switzer_fishing

Another fun and rewarding northern Wisconsin Muskie camping trip for me and Adler! We were able to boat 3 muskies and saw countless others! Lots of big fish followed but just wouldn’t commit! They don’t call em the fish of 10,000 casts for nothing! We’ll be back for em!

Lots to take away from an awesome weekend fishing, camping, exploring, and learning new bodies of water! (Boat naps are very important!)

And as always, store your fishing rods in a safe place while traveling and don’t let them bounce out of your truck bed 😖😖😖

A trip to our old stomping grounds provided all of us with a chance at big fish!! Isaac took the cake with his 8 pound Bowfin, and Jonah, Carter, Joe, and Drew each caught a great bass! Couple other Bowfin and tons of bluegill mixed in, made for a great community day on the water! God is good! by @switzer_fishing

A great couple of weeks with lots of bigger fish hitting the nets as summer quickly approaches! We fished through the White Bass run and found a bunch of toothy fish willing to bite! Multiple PBs and some absolutely gorgeous fish!!

April fishing has been great for all of us so far! The river has been ON FIRE 🔥 for Sauger, White Bass, and Smallies as the Walleye run has winded down! Jonah found a hot Carp bite as well! Friends Cole and Mikaela got on an awesome Crappie bite in Illinois and HUGE congrats to our guy Billy on his personal best Largemouth Bass! What a bucket mouth! by @switzer_fishing

Some absolutely EPIC fishing moments the last couple weeks! From selfies with Muskies to TRIPLING up with cousins, it doesn’t get much better than that!

Our cousin from California came to Indiana for his spring break and we got him on his first Indiana fish, as well as his first ever Spotted Bass and Freshwater Drum! We had many doubles, and even a Largemouth Bass TRIPLE! Jonah and Tobias found some bass as well!

Jonah and Isaac took a trip to Muskieville and each caught a Muskie! Jonah’s clocked in at 34.25” and Isaac’s 32.5”! Great start to 2026 Muskie fishing!

And to top it off, our good buddy Nate caught some amazing trout during his recent trip to Wyoming! by @switzer_fishing

@isaacswitzer13 took a solo trip to Florida and added SIX new species (total of 93 lifetime species), and caught some stud native Florida LMB’s (Biggest ~6 Pounds). Accomplished first Snook, Tilapia, Mayan Cichlid, Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and Bonnethead Shark! Southwest Florida is an amazing fishery and has an endless possibility of salt and fresh opportunities. taken in Naples, Florida by @switzer_fishing
