A second talk from me at the fabulous Mossburn Community Farm. This time giving hints and tips about how to help your child learn to ride a bike. I break it down into simple steps for you to take away and do at home 🥳
Riding a bike is a key life skill and will enable your child to take part in Bikeability Scotland in their primary school.

In this heat I mainly plan on riding my bike to a shaded cafe for ice cream...🎺🎺🎺

Mossburn Community Farm is a charity providing loving care to animals in need of help and a home 🤩🤩🤩
They also provide animal assisted therapy to help people needing a bit of help and support 😃😃😃
They are quite simply superb.
Yesterday we rode a coast to coast from Annan to Portobello Beach in Edinburgh to raise money for the phenomenal work they do and we called in to say hello 🐎🐎🐎
We've raised £4.2k so far so please please help support us if you can to get this amazing total even higher 🐐🐐🐐
A big thank you to @thegoodcoffeecartel @bilslandcycles and @veganwheels_glasgow for their support 🙏🙏🙏

The North Pennines in the sunshine...what a place to be 🎺🎺🎺
Chapel Fell is a magnificent climb linking two valleys and gives you some seriously big views. 🤩🤩🤩
The descent off Chapel Fell is as much fun as you could wish for on a bike 🙏🙏🙏

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Eskdalemuir is one of the best places to ride a bike in the UK 🎺🎺🎺
Had a brilliant day out using the hire bikes from @eskape_active_travel - the bikes are fab 🙏🙏🙏
Rode two of their recommended routes on the forest trails and finished with a look around Samye Ling Monestary 😀😀😀
Oh...and the @eskdalehub cafe is a joy 🥳🥳🥳 by @swscycletraining

The Tyne Bridge is pretty iconic and you can cycle over it on a shared use path 🚲🚲🚲
But even better than that is the kittiwakes that make their nests here every year 🕊️🕊️🕊️
They'll lay their eggs and rear their chicks on these tiny ledges and the first flight for their chicks is make or break 😳😳😳
Next time you're struggling on a bike ride, forget being as brave as a lion. They've got huge claws, massive teeth and no natural predators. Be as brave as a kittiwake 🎺🎺🎺 by @swscycletraining

The North Pennines...what a place to ride a bike 🤩🤩🤩
The North Pennines are a doddle to access by train - loads of the stops on the Carlisle to Newcastle line give you easy access to them and riding there is a total joy 🎺🎺🎺
Be warned however - it is called the Roof of England for a reason...there is not much flat riding there 🥵🥵🥵
However...if you love a lapwing, curlew or a grouse then I can't think of a better place to see them than here 🐦🐦🐦
Allendale is a fab place to use as a bit of a hub for riding from - the @allendaleforgestudios has a brilliant cafe and is gift heaven and it's also home to a sci-fi museum 👽👽👽 by @swscycletraining
