First of all it's my birthday today! Happy birthday Sybil 🎂 🥳

This year, I'd like to share my birthday gift with you all☺️☺️☺️...my labor of love, the new season of Orange Matters!!!

This season we go to the grass roots where we interact one on one with creatives...and get an authentic perspective on the industry.

Walk with me on this journey as we dive deeper into the creative industry and create more opportunities, welcome conversations and structures that will be beneficial to all stakeholders...

ORANGE MATTERS: LEGENDS EDITION
DADDY OWEN: THE KING OF URBAN GOSPEL

Yeap you read that right...DADDY Owen is the King of Urban Gospel...not just in Kenya but Africa as a whole. 🤴🏾🤴🏾

He established this when he won the MTV MAMA Award as the first Gospel artist in Africa in 2010 and locally propelled to become one of the biggest household names.🙌🙌

It is for this reason that when he calls, we answer...so this coming Sunday, the 27th of September, we should all make our way to CITAM Karen for The Call. It is a time for us to worship and sing and just remind ourselves how wonderful the era of Urban Gospel was in Kenya at just 1000/=.🥳🥳

For this reason, he has earned the title MASTEEEERRRR 🙌🙌🤴🏾🤴🏾 in ORANGE MATTERS: LEGENDS EDITION 🙌🙌🤴🏾🤴🏾

Key important notes from MUMBI MAINA herself in the pinned comment👇

ORANGE MATTERS: LEGENDS EDITION
MUMBI KAIGWA, THE QUEEN OF THEATRE 👸🏿👸🏿

When it comes to theatre, its definition and true purpose, one name has rung a bell for over the past 40 years 🙉🙉 and that name is Mumbi Kaigwa!

She has been the example of using arts as a tool for social justice, important conversations and societal change tackling difficult topics and bringing them to light...on a stage.

Her torch has never gone dim since she set foot in the space in 1972 at just 10 years old 🙉 and for her immense contributions to theatre, she has earned the title MASTEEEERRRR 🙌🙌👸🏿👸🏿 in ORANGE MATTERS:LEGENDS EDITION 🙌🙌👸🏿👸🏿....Receive your flowers 💐 💐💐

For a long time, scriptwriters have struggled with scripts in their own rooms....buuutttt... here is Story Lab, an initiative where scripts are discussed and feedback given from different filmmakers.

This is under The Talent Studio by Nice Githinji...and you can reach out via their email or contact on The Talent Studio's bio.....to join Story Lab!

This is open to all filmmakers and especially writers who would want to have their scripts discussed and you can get key pointers on your story and how to tighten plots, themes, characters etc...whilst everything regarding your copyright is still protected.

See you there!!🥳🥳
