Acid is back for revenge in… ACID MELTS YOU: 2
Starring two Brooklyn based Vinyl selectas:

@cyclobonette and @_headphonesgirl

Friday Oct 2 10pm-late

💚🧪⚡️🪐☢️🔊

Headphones Girl’s musical world is a funky, kaleidoscopic collage of sounds from the psychedelic underground. From ecstatic, bass-forward breaks to acid, trance, and techno, her genre-traversing sets aim to capture the transcendent madness of the rave experience using salvaged pieces forgotten technology from raves past.

CYCLO BONETTE’s sound is both ethereal and visceral. Percussion, emotive melody, and acid basslines are key ingredients in her distinctive, yet genre-fluid sets; diving through breakbeat and house records of the 90s with ease and style. Her sets are ecstatic experiences, and her productions are perfect encapsulations of the energy felt on her dancefloors.

Sound System provided by @systemfailure617 of course.

Email the info line to RSVP. Location info goes out day of.

📞Calling all the speaker-curious people!📞
On Saturday August 8th, we will have a little *daytime programming* as part of our Bass Advent festival with @bratcity333 and @echotheism

This workshop will be led by Bia (dystecha); she wants to share her knowledge about club and rave sound systems, especially with other local DJs, party organizers, and dancers who want to know more about what makes us dance.

We will be exploring the parts of the full soundsystem, (already set up and ready for the party on Saturday the 8th), learning about all the wiring and cables, learning about gain staging (I.e. how to make your djing sound the best it can on a big system), and learning about how to take care of sound equipment amidst all the chaos it endures.

This is the first time we are doing a workshop like this—depending on interest, there may be more in the future!

If you are interested in attending, please email systemfailure617@gmail.com
Capacity will be limited.
Suggested donation is $10 cash, but no interested attendees will be turned away :)

Your favorite club crew collaboration is coming back, Boston 🫦🌀

system_failure and Bratcity team up again this July 10th to present Bored Lord, Bratattack, DJ RAYVINO and Brazen.

Our guest DJ from Oakland, Bored Lord, has already made many appearances on Boston dancefloors recently. (You’ve danced to her tracks 😉) She’s a prolific producer with range from dub and slow emotional rollers to high-energy breakbeat and rave music. She frequently samples nostalgic songs from decades past, turning memories into *HAWT* dancefloor moments.

Brazen is a member of the system_failure crew. His work as an organizer has created many of the diy spaces that have been valuable to our scene over the past few years, and his music bag is deep.

Bratattack is the mayor of Bratcity! She rocks a dancefloor like no other dj in this city, with nonstop club energy. She’s the founder of Bratcity, and has built the regular club night into a destination to see influential underground djs from club scenes all across the country.

DJ RAYVINO has been a staple in the Boston scene for *years.* They constantly work to make rich, safe spaces for the Black and queer community in our city. They have a unique ability to play to any room, any time, any crowd. Rayvino is a DJ’s DJ.

This event will be in a *secret location.* In order to rsvp, please email thepartyline000@gmail.com with “bored lord” in the subject line. RSVP will be donation based, with no one turned away for lack of funds.

See you under the stars ✨

🔊Boston! This is a Soundsystem Event! 🔊

Brought to you by System_Failure and Noise Pollution Ticket, two of Boston’s DIY, underground soundsystem crews, this is an all-out system deployment bigger than any you’ve felt before. Along with system support from Faited Systems (Oakland) and the T4T Luv NRG soundsystem out of the New Hampshire woods, a wall of subwoofers will shake you to your core as Octo Octa and Faited grace the decks with a 3 hr, all-vinyl, Drum n Bass B2B set.

If you enjoyed System Test, the recent DnB Sunday Dayrave put on by Brazen and Dystecha, you will certainly want to experience this Soundsystem Event, their next collaborative project. The two djs, ravers, and renegade enthusiasts will warm up the decks for our special guests with an opening B2B (bestie2bestie) set.

(This event will be held in a sober space. No alcohol or drug consumption will be permitted on site)

We want to highlight the speaker-freakers behind the gorgeous bass-amplifying, mid-range rattling, high-end euphoria speaker stacks that have been core to making the Boudoir parties extra special for almost a year now 🔊 @systemfailure617 & @noisepollutionticket 🔊

This crew collaboration has been consistently tweaking speaker placement, subwoofer orientation, and amplifier specs to make music sound really freaking good. We’re blessed to have these folks helm the sound booth with confidence.

Come check out their speaker stacks THIS Saturday :) T!x for our show with @keenanorrdc are still avail. by @systemfailure617

🔊 Boston! This is a SYSTEM TEST! 🔊
Brazen and Dystecha, local DJs and renegade-party enthusiasts, bring you a fresh and sunny vision: a Drum-n-Bass DAY-RAVE. 🌞

Come close out your weekend with a daytime dance party in JP, where dystecha, Mx. Blaire , and Eternalgate will spin Jungle, Drum n Bass, and other bassy deliciousness. System_Failure and Noise Pollution Ticket bring together their subwoofers in a massive 6ft-tall stack that will shake your sacrum.

Brazen will be running a Drum n’ Bagels coffee bar to fuel you up for dancing 🥯☕️

Hosted at NAICOB (the North American Indian Center of Boston). NAICOB is an accessible space, with one accessible bathroom and one bathroom downstairs. It is a sober space— so please refrain from bringing alcohol or drugs. We promise you won’t need them with a dance party this good 😉

All ages are welcome! Earplugs recommended, we will have some at the door if you forget.
$10-25 suggested donation to help us cover our costs and pay those who put in work to make this happen 🫶 by @systemfailure617
