Four years.Today marks four years since we said, “I do.”As I was looking through old pictures, I came back to this one.It wasn’t taken on our wedding day. It was December 30, 2021 the night before I proposed. I told @lifextierra we were just going out to dinner, doing everything I could to convince her nothing special was happening.Little did she know, less than 24 hours later I’d be asking her to spend forever with me.What I love most about this picture isn’t even us.It’s what’s behind us.On the wall are pictures of the family that shaped the incredible woman standing beside me. A father and his daughter. Brothers together. Moments that tell the story of where she came from.Then I realized…Four years later, we’ve become the next chapter.Today, we have our own “bed picture.”Three beautiful little girls who have completely changed our lives.One day they’ll look back at pictures of us the same way we look at the ones behind us here. They’ll see more than smiles. They’ll see the love that built a family.This picture also reminds me of my mom. She was there to celebrate our engagement after I proposed. A few months later she suffered a heart attack, and although she knew we were getting married, she never got to see us exchange our vows or meet the granddaughters she would’ve spoiled endlessly.I miss her every day.But loss has taught me something…Don’t wait to tell people you love them.So today, I want to tell you.Tierra, thank you for saying yes.Thank you for believing in me.Thank you for making our house a home and for giving our daughters a mother they’ll spend the rest of their lives trying to emulate.Watching you become a wife has been a blessing.Watching you become a mother has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.If someone asked me what the greatest accomplishment of my life is, it wouldn’t be a career, a title, or an award.It’s this.Us.The life we’ve built.The family we’re raising.Happy 4th Anniversary, babe.I’d still choose you.Every single time.Forever. by @ta_9222

Happy Mother’s Day to my wife, my best friend, and the definition of Super Mom… @lifextierra I call you “Super Mom” all the time, but the truth is, even that doesn’t fully capture everything you do. You make the impossible look effortless. You pour every ounce of yourself into our three girls Tatum, Teddy, and Tristyn — while still supporting me as I work two jobs, and somehow continue serving and uplifting other mothers through your work as a doula.We always knew having three little girls so close together would be hard… the sleepless nights, the chaos, the schedules, the emotions, the sacrifices. But what I didn’t know was just how perfect of a mother you would be, because “perfect” always sounded so unattainable to me… until I watched the way you mother our children.The way you comfort them, protect them, teach them, love them, and somehow make each one of them feel equally special is something I admire every single day. You are the heart of this family. Our girls feel safe because of you. I feel stronger because of you.And I know my mom would be so proud of you. She would love watching the way you love our girls, the patience you have, and the home you’ve built for all of us. Happy 3rd Birthday to my first born… my Tatum 💕Three years ago today, you changed my life forever. You made me a father. You made @lifextierra a mother. You made our dads become grandfathers for the very first time. You became the first great granddaughter in our family… and there is something so powerful about being the first.The first child carries a different kind of love. A different kind of emotion. You are the beginning of so many stories in our family. The first little girl to make us hear “Dad” and “Mom.” The first granddaughter our fathers held in their arms with tears in their eyes. The first little soul that healed parts of our family we didn’t even realize were broken.And while you weren’t the first grandchild for roro @rosalindramseyferguson , you gave her something just as special… her first granddaughter. A different kind of bond, love, and joy that only a little girl can bring. Watching her love you has been so beautiful to see.At only 3 years old, you’ve already become the best big sister to Teddy and Tristyn. They look at you with so much love and admiration, and you love them so naturally. You helped make our family of 3 become the beautiful family of 5 we are today.What makes today even more emotional is that your birthday falls on Mother’s Day weekend. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mom 🤍Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. Today hits a little different… I just wish I could hear your voice, get one more hug, and watch you hold your grandbabies the way I know you would’ve.I hope you can see the life I’ve built. I’ve tried to take everything you taught me: how to love, how to stay strong, how to show up for family and carry it with me every single day. I’ve built a beautiful life with Tierra, and we’ve been blessed with our babies… Tatum, Teddy, and Tristyn. Somewhere between the laughter, the little hands, and these moments we never want to forget… we just keep looking at each other like, wow… this is really our life.And today… we even asked each other… “Are we good parents?”In a world where you’re constantly wondering if you’re doing enough, showing up enough, getting it right… that question hit different. Because the truth is, we’re not perfect… but we love hard, we show up every day, and we pour everything we have into these three little girls.And that has to count for something.God has blessed us in ways we can’t even fully put into words.Three beautiful girls. Three strong, fearless, growing souls… and the honor of raising them together. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for you, but I’ll try. Every single day, you amaze me. You are the BEST mother to our three beautiful girls, pouring unconditional love, patience, and guidance into them. You’re the best big sister to six brothers, always showing up with the right balance of protection and love. And you’re a daughter and daughter-in-law who never stops pouring your heart into family.People see social media and the beautiful life we share, but what they don’t see is the journey that brought us here. They don’t see how hard it’s been…dating while my mom was ill, celebrating our wedding while she was on her death bed, and now you balancing your business with being a full-time mother to three under two. Yet through every storm, your resilience shines. You’ve carried me through my darkest days, and now you carry our girls with that same strength.
