The bride spent the evening barefoot, the dogs were running in the fields, we had bbq brisket among other delicious foods and I could see every star in the sky God made just for Kenz & Alfie 💫 p.s. my sister’s speech made me weep while I simultaneously realized she has a potential career in standup. MOOD because I had brain surgery 4 days ago. Thank You God and thank you to my neurosurgery team at UCLA I will never say anything about “Boo-CLA” again (unless it’s game days against USC). Part of me will always have a soft spot for that blue and gold, never would’ve believed you if you told me that EVER but ya’ll saved me. I was praying going into the OR that my time on earth would not wrap up being wheeled down a white hall in a hospital bed and an ugly surgery cap and gown— even though I had every confidence in God, my surgery team and my own body I still did not feel control over the outcome because it was beyond me. But reflecting on my relationships and friends and the life I’ve lived I was thinking yes there’s more in me but I feel I have lived and loved SO MUCH if this was it. Every part of my life has unfolded to lead up to this point of healing and I will be shouting that God saved my life for the rest of it. If you are breathing there is hope, where there is life there is hope no matter what. You woke up today go make the most of it. TRUST MEEE. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive through this journey I appreciate and love all of you so much. All love forever now I’m gonna take a nap because I gotta be back out there riding horses and swimming in the ocean and running around like a lil fairy again ASAPPPP by @tabitha__jane

Happy birthday to my empathetic, kind, brilliant, beautiful, rockstar (literally), insanely talented makeup artist sister. You are an artist in every way. Webster’s got a big pic of your face next to the word. Everything you do and everything you are is to the upmost.
