meet Helen.

Helen grew up in Maryland and her family owns one of Napa's most iconic wineries. she is not an expert in wine, and she will tell you this herself.

what she is: a trained cook who has fed people in professional kitchens, Wyoming ranch kitchens, boat kitchens, festival kitchens, and every kitchen in between. someone who grew up at a dinner table where wine was always poured, but never the point. a third-generation owner who looked at a 50-year-old Napa legacy and decided what it needed was a $30 chillable red for a Tuesday. Why? Well, because she wanted to drink a chillable red on a Tuesday.

she calls it her third child, her chillest one yet.
Table Wine is hers, and soon it will be yours.
follow her cooking, hosting and wine-ing journey on Substack at the link in bio. she has receipts.

some nights you plan. most you don’t.

dinner turns into dessert. someone opens another bottle. the music is vibing. nobody checks the time.

that’s what we made this for.

inspired by a family belief that wine belongs at the center of the table, not on a pedestal, we created Table Wine: a chillable California red that’s serious in craft, light in spirit, destined to share.

made by the team @closduval. led by third-generation owner Helen Goelet.

the best bottles don’t define the moment. they join it.

Find it now at the link in bio.

Swipe to see how the carbonic fermentation process changes fresh grapes to wine. Once we press off the juice, we dig out the tank and use the leftovers for organic compost 💪🏼

What! A! Season!

From backyards and streets to urban lofts, from Napa to Boston and Wyoming, these past few months have only strengthened our belief that the best bonds are made around a table.

thank you to everyone who has pulled up a chair with us, both virtually and IRL. thanks for pouring a glass, starting conversations, making new friends, finding room at your table, and letting us be a part of your summer.

we're just getting started.
