We had a great time working with filmmaker Robin Metzler showing the steps to create a plated dessert using some amazing Piura Blanco beans for his documentary about this very special cacao variety.

Thank you team @robin_metzler & @sonyametzler for this clip and thank you again Robin for your time, good chats and for hearing my rants about the industry.

On the plate:
Piura Blanco Whipped Ganache, Latte Mousse, Spiced Crumb, Calamansi Jelly, Mandarin Cremeux, Burnt Orange and Bergamot Granité.

Say hi to our espresso machine @lamarzocco linea mini made entirely out of chocolate. Though unbelievable, every single detail has been made with our own bean to bar chocolate for the amazing @lamarzoccouk roadshow.

This has taken long days of work, which result can’t just be achieved with a great amount of knowledge but also with an even greater amount of passion. We couldn’t be prouder of our talent @remykuijken -chocolate maker and chocolatier- for such impeccable work.

Huge thanks to everyone who approached us with their kind words, it means so much to us. And thank you, Remy, you inspire us every day.

UPDATE!!

Apologies for the silence, we were on annual leave and just had to disconnect a bit to get time with our family and friends and be able to rest, specially after our move and all the extra work it implied (way more than we expected!)

We missed making chocolate though, and we have some news too that we’ll be sharing with you soon, milestones that will allow us grow and reach more people who don’t know about real chocolate yet.

Our stockists have been the absolute best during this time, thank you for keeping them busy 🤎 We’re restocking as fast as we can and have started getting ready for the highest season. Thank you all for your patience, we’re excited for what is coming! by @tablechocolate

Liverpool Coffee Festival, you kept us BUSY

Thank you to every person and business who visited us and to all the people involved behind the scenes. We had to restock everything after the first day with also so many people coming back for more the day after. It’s great to see the festival expand year by year. There is a growing awareness of consumption from consumers, supporting independent businesses and trying to source better quality coffee and chocolate. Cheers to that!

We love doing things from scratch so much that we decided to redo the complete floor ourselves, a typical Table thing to do. And our floor expert had to come over to check if we had done a good job.

Have started with the structure already, time is ticking, and not the refurb or the chocolate production or the school runs can be stopped 🫠 Thank you for being there! by @tablechocolate

We’ve got news 🥹

For the last couple of months we’ve been silent until it was confirmed and we got the keys. We outgrew our sweet space and are doubling the square meters to be able to have more machinery, better work flow (crucial!) and make loads of more delicious bean to bar chocolate.
Finding the right place is not easy. This feels like a surreal moment as we thought we would stay in our first unit for much longer. Even more surreal when we think of how we started. Which is good news but also comes with a great amount of challenges, specially when we see SO many fellow independent businesses closing down at the moment reminding everyone the “use us or lose us”.

We’ll continue working hard because we’re obsessed with quality and will always do our best to keep on learning. Thank you to everyone who appreciates what we do, to all those amazing regulars who buy our chocolate online, to all the small business owners and also general managers that keep on ordering and to our very special bakery friends that trust our product and look after their ingredients like no other. You’re ALL amazing, this wouldn’t be happening if it wasn’t for you.

That’s all for now before we get more emotional. Have a nice Easter and hope you’re not eating palm oil eggs 🙃
